I don't know Tim, it's a pretty close match to the factory blue and it would be nigh on impossible to perfectly recreate the exact same blue again. I think it's just one of those things that happen to look better in person, than camera. Plus, I wouldn't want to destroy too much of the original paint work.  |

Here he is again, but this time with flash. If you know a thing or two about paint you'll know you cannot beat the camera flash test. It's not exactly perfect, but it isn't bad for a slap together colour. It's the matte finish that does it. I know if I lay down one or two more cotes it will be a lot closer to the factory colour. Good enough for me at least...  |

Just bought a NIB SDCC Goku off eBay. You were right, it did cost way too much!

Those dark SDCC blues mixed with your lighter blues on the arm bands/waist band of your normal form Goku look pretty good to me. Now paint those orange boot lines red for a perfect Cell/Buu Saga Goku!  |

But they are red!? I think you might have confused them for the earlier yellow striped boots.
Conversely, I'd be interested to learn how everyone envisions Goku's boots to be in reality? I personally see them as a sorts of Ugg boot, possibly with a hard shell casing. Perhaps constructed of a dyed suede/nubuck material and raised, braided/woven, satin piping and lace. I don't really see the sole being rubberised, either. LoL! - r@ndomz!

Look closely, my friend. The lines on SDCC Goku are indeed orange, as are the lines on SS3 Goku's.
That... Is a ridiculously random question. I always imagined them to be blue leather, myself.
