I'd say 99% of the time I am true to Ash. I was with Liara the first time I played ME1 and with Tali the first time I played ME2. Other than that it has always been Ash

I've been thinking about replaying Skyrim... but I can't dedicate another 10 months of my life to that game...
Oh yes I can!
But lately I've been playing the hell outta WWE '13.
As for the next gen, right now, I'd get a Wii U just for Zelda, Smash Bros. and other Nintendo games. Mikersoft was a punk when they announced Xbox One, but Halo 5... Halo 5 will drag me to buying one... eventually. But Sony was definitely the smartest marketer imo.

That's what is stopping me having another run through of Mass Effect. Just no time to commit to the game at the moment.

Lol, awesome guys! Ashelia Oddly enough I didn't care for Tali in ME1, because well, Liara *dreamy look*. However, I think because Liara was pretty much gone in ME2, I kinda started noticing Talia haha. Funnily enough, I have to say she's my favourite romance now, I love her personality and I think it shows how brilliant Bioware is that it can make a player choose a character who's appearance you've never seen over all the clearly more revealing people around her. That's how great they are at writing characters. Ash I don't care much for beyond the fact that she's a familiar teammate so she's "mass effect" so to speak. Same with Miranda, who's okay, though still not very interesting to me. And Jack I don't even wanna talk about. In any case I played like so many classes etc, but I basically have two main playthroughs to get the most out of the games and see all options. First is Infiltrator, about 75% Renegade (Renegade ways, paragon goals), switched from liara in ME1 to Tali and stayed with her. Tali and Garrus as standard teammates (call it my tech team). Chose Renegade ending. (So effin glad to have this team in Play Arts Kai form:D) Second my biotic team: Adept (Vanguard in ME2), 95% Paragon, stayed with Liara (no romance in 2 except LotSB). Ultimate team would've been Liara and Thane, but that's not possible, so it was Liara and wrex in 1, Thane and Miranda/Grunt in 2 and Liara and Garrus in ME3. Chose Paragon ending. Only other notable playthrough is my Soldier, just because I wanted to have played the game as a Soldier. Hardest playthrough for me, I'm not exactly the best at shooters. My Soldier did pick Ash. Hardcore marine style. Obviously I've played the games enough to use almost everyone at some point. The only two characters I've never used except in their own mission were Zaeed and Jack because I loathe those two. And I always played as a man. Only played ME2 as a woman once (chose Thane) and I just couldn't really get into it. I just identify with my own gender more in RPG's. Especially in ME because I've grown attached to BroShep's default look, which I ended up using for every play-through except my Adept. SWTOR I played for three months last spring, which were good times, but eventually I realised MMO's are not for me, because I just don't care about maxing stats etc. The whole endgame thing, yeah don't give an F about it.

I'm a huge Halo fan, but the last two games haven't been that great, so I'm not really looking forward to Halo 5. I loved the first 3 though. I played Halo 2 for two summers straight. Hopefully if/when they make Halo 2 Anniversary, it will have the same multiplayer gameplay as the original. Halo 1 Anniversary's wasn't the same though. It just used Reach's.

Yeah they did the same with halo odst, using halo 3's multiplayer I believe. Halo 4 wasn't that bad lol, I liked the difference in multiplayer, now reach I haven't played but I heard its basically the same? Halo 3 was/is an amazing game.

I play the Halo games more for the campaign. I like splitscreen multiplayer, but online is just kind of a hassle. But I thought Halo 4's campaign was great. The only Halo game I didn't really like was Halo Wars; I don't dig RTS games.
But man, I don't see how you guys remember so much of what you did in the Mass Effect games. I haven't played 3 yet, but 1 and 2 were awesome, but I don't remember much of anything.
But I do remember one thing... one thing that stands out above all others: MINING in ME2...
Oh yeah, I remember the Asari too.

We have played ME more than once which is why we remember so much . I have only played the first Halo game because at the time I only had Windows XP and you needed Vista to play the second one which kinda annoyed me big time because I really enjoyed Halo.

Played Mass Effect 1 4-6 times (have to admit so long ago, kinda forgot), ME2 near 10 times (not a joke, played out the ending about 15 times, I wanted to see every different option haha). Played Mass Effect 3 about 4 times, of which only 2 times completely all DLC included. And all of this is excluding casual moments I might've replayed or just specific missions etc.
The advantage you have now Mark is that you have all ME3 DLC readily available and integrated in the game. When ME3 came out it just wasn't a finished game imo. It wasn't bad, it was quite awesome (though more lineair then 1 and 2 unfortunately) but it simply wasn't finished. ME3 with the extended cut, the Leviathan and Citadel DLC is brilliant imo, genuinely brilliant. The game just tackles so much moral and technical issues that sci-fi is the genre for and it does it so awesomely imo. It's kinda too bad they actually finished the game via DLC, whether that's money related or something else. The only thing that disappointed me, truly, were the Protheans' origins and who they were. But, believe it or not, I grew to appreciate that disappointment because it has something real to it, because it kind of resembled the naieve romanticising of past civilisations. It's hard to explain without spoiling it. ME is just hit a sweet spot between realism and cool-factor for me that no other sci-fi property has. I love Star Wars for example, but when I look at Mass Effect's world, and the incredible detail in all the design, from races' biology to world design and developed history, to inter-species and inter-character relationships., I realised how badly Star Wars' design actually is. Bioware added a lot in their Old Republic EU but it's still no match imo for ME. (Except that lightsabres and jedi/sith are just insanely awesome.)
So yeah I can tell you right now Batman, Goku and Shepard are my three favourite heroes ever. Granted the latter is of course my version of him.

I'm pumped for Arkham Origins. Hopefully it lives up to the bar that City and Asylum has left. In ME2 I went for Miranda as a love interest lol. But I spent so much time on that game to acquire all the achievements/trophies. I couldn't stand to lose a single person. Skyrim was so addicting. Skyrim Online is going to be coming out so uh ... Anyone plan on picking up Diablo III on console? I think that's just really weird and Diablo III wasn't even as good as I expected. Anyways, just me all over the place with different game topics

No worries monkeyb0y. We are all a little all over the place sometimes lol . And yeah Origins has some pretty big shoes to fill. At the moment it is the only game I plan on picking up for the foreseeable future.

I just don't have time to play a whole new assortment of games. Heck I still haven't played the original Assassin's Creed yet let alone playing number 4 lol.

Well I think 4 is its own thing where you won't need the previous ones to understand. Well hopefully sometime you do get the chance to enjoy some new games mate!
