How is the hair? I've seen some people has received figures with two different colors on the hair. The color is consistent all the way through on mine, but you can see the PVC through it, because it's watery. You can see where it pooled in the crevices of his hair, and it looks like it was only a single coat. I'm super pissed by the changes that they made on the standing SSj3 Prototype to the production piece. They elongated the face, elongated the neck, repositioned the head, and repositioned the hands. The prototype looked so good but the production piece is laughable. The production piece is seriously an insult to the sculptor who did the figure. takezo I believe we already spoke on FB, but I'll post pics here for the rest of you to see comparisons. The SSj2 Goku isn't that bad. He scales pretty well with HQDX and DOD, as well as SC2 Adult Goku. Yes, thank you ^^ And by the way, I can't understand why they painted a black line over the eyelid... Makes no sense.

Wow...I think Banpresto pulled a fast one here. It honestly appears like most of the figure has been re-sculpted with less detail or they did some MASSIVE changes to the mold at the factory to cut down on the details.
I understand there is always a loss of quality when you go from prototype to production...but this is inexcusable and cheap...this is a HUGE drop in quality in comparison to past SCulture waves. I've seen them capture more detail on smaller figures. We've seen the paint quality continually slide but I was hoping they'd keep the sculpt quality but they've finally gone over the edge...this is BOTH a paint and sculpt quality downfall.
SOOOO disappointing...I hope they get a lot of hate in Japan about this. Crappy job Banpresto...you really let one of your best lines slide into the toilet with this series of figures.

I'm looking forward to the Super Saiyan 3 Goku powering up the Kamehameha. The leg positioning is strange but everything else looks really good. I'm scared for that one now...seeing the quality in the last two Goku figures in this series...I feel that one is just going to be terrible now.

Let's hope it comes right, i really want this SSJ3 sculpted by Nakazawa.

I wasn't a fan of the other Super Saiyan 3 Goku and the straight standing Super Saiyan 2 Goku from the get-go. I thought the other Super Saiyan 2 Goku turned out alright but I haven't seen it in person.

The other figurines at least appear to have the original sculpt while this SS3 one appears to almost be a complete dumbed-down copy of the original. It honestly looks like a bootleg.

I'm scared for that one now...seeing the quality in the last two Goku figures in this series...I feel that one is just going to be terrible now. I agree, however... I'm not convinced that Banpresto is actually trying to crap on their customers. Since it seems so odd that they'd massively downgrade one of their most popular lines; my hope for them comes from the Resolution of Soldiers line. It's entirely possible that Banpresto is trying to move in a different direction, and maybe try to focus on higher quality figures. What I mean is that I (hope) the quality that we've seen for SCultures in the past will be applied to the ROS line, and SCultures in turn might be fazed out to have the same quality as DXF or TFC in order to make way for ROS. And the Super Master Stars Piece Goku is beautiful from what I've seen. One of the best sculpting and molding jobs done on a Goku statue figure in a long time from any company, imo. So I do see a glimmer of hope, but I hope I'm not wrong about the ROS line. If I am wrong, I think I'll have to find a new favorite company to buy from.

Yes, I'm also generally disappointed by these SC6. 1. All figures are from the series DBSuper (I want a majority DBZ characters) 2. 4 Goku's are at least 3 too much. "C-18 (one would have sufficed) plus the uncolored Black or gray which me do not interest. 3. These production figures look really s**t. I look me the SSJ3 Goku action figure. If that does not look so great, will I omit this SC6 figures completely. And by the way, I'm happy with my SSJ3 Goku from Ichiban Kuji, so it's not so bad if I buy no SSJ3 Goku figure of this line. I hope for an improvement in the SC7. I just hope the RoS line will be a big hit. So I'm on this line now more excited than the Scultures.

Nice video Richie! Can't wait to see your review of the SS3 Goku. Please give us an honest assessment of it because a lot of what we see is a severe disappointment. Vegeku Thanks for posting that great close-up. I'm seriously convinced now that Banpresto re-did the entire mold of that figure and either had one of their own sculptors copy the original and slim down on the detail or asked the original sculptor (VAROQ? Whoever) to make a dumbed-down copy. There is some areas where you can see the lined detail is very similar, but you can then see some OBVIOUS differences: The ear is completely different, the single hair bang is more rounded, the neck is elongated and more slender...the whole FACE looks different. Emeriti, the quality drop seemed to first begin when SCultures was labeled with 'Crane King' and became part of the UFO catchers. We saw Banpresto cut back severely on the paints...especially on shading, but they kept the sculpt quality up. This is a newer, more disappointing dip and I hope you're right, but this is extremely disappointing for one of their most popular and well-received lines. I don't understand why Banpresto would make this move and then still widely present and advertise the SCultures Figure Colosseum challenges and votes anymore.

SSJ3 Goku (Action) production figure (left) in comparison with the prototype (right). I'm curious how it will really look like. At the moment it looks better than the standing version.

Thanks for posting that! Yeah, if they hold to that it does indeed look way better than the standing version. I wonder why they went with the yellow hair and not the platinum blond on the original sculpts. I kind of dig that color.

From the horrible character selection (lol four Gokus and two Android 18's) to the quality, this is absolutely the worst Scultures series to date....
