This crappy paintjob on Goku SSJ2 better be a defective piece on that one the guy of the vid got. This isn't what they've sold us during all this time. Some heads on Banpresto's manufacturing should roll if that's the final product.

The figure looks amazing but it's strange that different shading on the hair. I hope mine didn't have that :/ Well, i'll have ready some paint if so..

I hope it's not like this either, but I notice that coloration like this rarely varies from piece to piece with Banpresto products. Paint coloration and application seems to be pretty consistent through the whole run. For example, the King of Coloring Goku, almost every piece had paint missing behind the ears. But even the PVC looks a bit oily. Lower quality than previous runs. |

I agree with you all. The coloring of the hair looks really strange. The glossy almost darker/goldie yellow on the front and the brighter yellow in the background. On the video, see the eyes a bit too bright, but does not look as bad as the SSJ3 Goku from SC1. The was really sh*t with its almost brown hair  !!! Now I'm looking forward to the two SSJ3 Gokus as will look in the final result. Otherwise I will not buy, I still have the Ichiban Kuji figure where I am actually pretty happy.   |

Well, the good news is that it looks like this SSj2 might scale with the SSj Goku from SC5. I wanted to display those two together anyway. And the Action pose SSj3, because that looks like it has a similar scale as well.

@ice Queen Emeriti Most of the pics I've seen on the net the coloring looks right, but I've also seen 1 or 2 that looks to have 2 different tones, so... we will see, but I'm already not optimistic about it. Like you said, I also saw something weird on the finishing of the figure, like it's not as polished as previous sculpts.
I'm leaning towards he will fit more the likes of Raditz and adult Goku of sC2. Goku and Bardock were just too big (for the height they had in the series) compared to most of the figures in this line. Bulma, Lunch (blue), Pan, Kid Goku and Krilin also have a bigger scale than the rest. Well, that's what we have been saying all the time, the sCultures line is just so much INCONSISTENT with the scales.
If we were talking about accuracy, the DOD line while not being 100% perfect on it, is the best in that matter, hands down. The MSP is also in there.
@redstar77 So will you be getting this figure if it comes with 2 different tones in the hair or not?

The figure actually looks pretty well sculpted, but the paint job on it is horrendous. That guy might have gotten a bootleg for all we know, but I look forward to buying a nicely repainted version from Yahoo Japan Auctions!

The SC6 will all be approximately in the size of Nappa, Raditz, Cell 2nd form etc. Therefore I will leave this SC6. Maybe I take only the Action SSJ3 Goku (this pleases me either way) and finished. I'm sure going to buy the Genkidama Goku's and certainly the RoS figures. I will once see the next Scultures 7 prototypes that are this autumn/winter appear. Maybe come back again of a larger figures as of Bardock and SSJ Goku (SC5). Otherwise I can still buy these Scultures of this year next year. |

Damn it. I was really hoping that they scaled better together. Does he scale with the SCultures 4 SSj Goku? I have my SC4 Goku compared to the SC5 Goku. Which are approximately the same size. But the SC4 Goku pretty in the knee goes / torso is quite deep, he looks so also a little smaller. But I think the Action SSJ Goku fits for that very reason better to the SC4 Goku. Or it will look something like this. Compared with Trunks. My opinion. ![]() |

I was planning to put this SSJ2 Goku next to HQDX majin vegeta, but seeing his size I'm not sure they will fit good, at all. I will wait for more comparisons.
@redstar77 so you are not getting him cause of the size, right¿ The dynamic SSJ3 Goku will look better with SC5 Goku and Bardock for sure, he looks bigger than the SSJ2, and is also kind of crouching.

I've decided I'm barely going to touch SCultures 6. It just feels like a waste of money to me. I'll be picking up the two SSJ3 figures, but that's it. I may get the action pose 18 later on if it's cheap on amazon, but that'll be all. We deserve better than this.
