Why do the faces on Goku SSJ3, Goku SSGSS, and Vegetto SSJ look so horrible?

Why do the faces on Goku SSJ3, Goku SSGSS, and Vegetto SSJ look so horrible? They're all sculpted by Marsuura Ken who sucks at sculpting humans/Saiyans. His butterzone is Piccolos, and he's spectacular at doing those. DOD Piccolo was his work, as well as SCultures 1 Piccolo, and DOD Piccolo imo is arguably the best looking figure from this line. The only Saiyan that he's done that I can think of that was a good piece was the SCultures 2 Kid Goku. He also did the first MSP Vegeta, and I hate that face. |

I don't know what is so wrong with Vegetto's face (not perfect but it's not bad either) and it will probably come with 2 more heads. The pupils should have a black border, though. I'm looking forward to see a smiling, arrogant expression. But I agree, Piccolo's DOD is one of the best of this line. Ketchup so here's hoping Matsuura Ken would work on a Kid Piccolo, Young Piccolo, Piccolo Daimaoh and Tambourine, amongst others.  |

So, at the C-18, I like the Pichi and Scultures better. Have the Pichi, the seated I did not want. Fabric dresses per se I do not like. Otherwise, this figure would be good. Conclusion: I will not buy. Vegetto: I'll stay with the HQDX, although the face could be better, but because of the fabric clothes, no thanks. Perfect Cell: It is difficult. I like the face of Scultures not special, but the DOD not necessarily. I think it is a bit like the DOD Fat Buu be, with this vinyl, also the price is higher than the Scultures. I think I need more pictures, other faces from him, then I decide again. Otherwise I'll stay with the Scultures and still hope to the ROS ver. (One can dream  ) . But in the future I will renounce such figures with fabric clothes. Except it once a figure come that has never existed in this size. For example Dabura, C-19 etc. |

I agree with you on the C18. I also like the Pichi better. But I like the DOD better than the scultures if I had to choose. Will keep with the Pichi one. About the Vegetto, the thing of the HQDX I like more is the pose obviously. Coloring and face faithfulness, while not being perfect, it's better on the DOD. And about Cell, there is just no competition. The DOD throws to the water the scultures version, in all ways. General sculpt, coloring and face likeliness. That figure is pretty much perfect. And A17 is just awesome. Will look great next to Pichi A18 for sure I would not be surprised if they make rarer character like Dabura or C19, I think it's a real possibility. |

Just received this awesome Golden Freezer. I don't even like Super, but this figure is marvelous and I had to get it. I actually like the design of this form, the gold tones look great.   |

I would be all over the DOD line if they all had those black bases. The multi-colored bases look so bad IMO, but the black base on that one looks good. |

It's what VR says, you can display them without their bases. Although the Golden Freeza was not standing up when I tried yesterday, but I think most of them (maybe it's just the 2 Freeza's) do. In my case, I like the different colors in the bases following most of the character's scheme. Golden F is an exception, black doesn't match him, but I guess a gold base would be too much in this case, so black looks better. |

does anyone have any pictures of the Trunks that would make it worth buying. I just hate how baggy the pants are. At a decent price and if he's worth it I'll pick him up but just from stock photos I can't bring myself to do it.

Can't trust SJC dates. As you can see Android 18 is confirmed for October. We won't see Vegetto, 17 or Cell until the end of the year/2017. |

I've read in FB that you have to buy the three DOD: C-17, C-18 and Cell! And that will be a part of the Cell Jr. in every figure (three parts in total). That means: three DOD figures for a Cell Jr. figure. This will be expensive if you want 3-4 such figures  . I would like also 3 to 4 such Cell Jr. figures, but I will not buy this DOD figures, so I let it. |
