I received Trunks today! It's my very first DOD figure and it looks amazing. The clothes are better than I expected in this figure. The pants can look good if you take your time while setting them up and while the jacket should be tighter it looks good enough. I guess it's pretty hard to make it smaller to fit the body better because just like it is right now, you have to push the arms quite to put it in. You can remove and put the sword in the sheath as you wish with just a 'click' and to exchange faces and right arm to hold the sword. Of course, it doesn't look too good watching the figure from behind (pants), but who displays a figure from his back anyway? =) The clothing looks definitely better in person than it does in pics. I highly recommend this figure. Now I'm just waiting for Majin Buu.      |

You should see this Trunks in person, it's absolutely stunning. I love this figure. The fabric material is good. I clearly prefer this over the scultures version which is too small.
Majin Buu is another great figure I will have it shipped very soon. And he's massive!! Will look great next to other sc and hqdx.

I think this Buu is the best looking out of all the Fat Buu figures available IMO. He looks amazing. I wasnt too happy about the price tag but he looks to be well worth the price. Im looking forward to receiving mine in a few days.

I'll give you partly right takezo and darksenshi. The size is certainly good or even perfect. From the sculpture/proportions, the Scultures version like me better. But since the Scultures version is simply too small, I think that I'm going also to purchase this DOD Majin Buu. For me, a plus is mainly the size. A minus would be for me (for some time now) the head size, comparing with the Scultures / DXF, and the cloth trousers. Otherwise for me the third-best Fat Buu figure. After these two here:   |

@redstar77 If you like the other 2 figures more than the new DOD Fat Buu you should not be spending money in that figure It's true the head size could be a bit smaller but I don't see it as a problem. I really like the figure as it is. It's beautiful. The price tag is not so nice, though.  |

He looks good, not perfect, but good! Due to the size, I'll maybe buy him, because I can replace the smaller Scultures  . Because I do not think that Banpresto (Scultures or Ichiban Kuji) will make in the near future a greater Fat Buu. Therefore it is better to buy the DOD version. Because of the price, it also plays not so an important role, because I already have some Resin which are more expensive. |

Look difference between yours and mine:  The belt can be removed to place the pants? i dont want to see the "line" beneath the belt, but for me it impossible to have your result... please help |

mirainotrunks Oh ye man! That's also something I have noticed in every DOD Trunks pictures I've seen from users. I would always see that line beneath the belt while my Trunks didn't show that to begin with. No, I really did NOTHING. Mine came just like you see, with that line hidden. I didn't touch that part at all! I can say my Trunks came out perfect. I didn't remove the pants at any time. It's weird tho because in the box art you can see that line also. Before I opened it:

Yeah, the problem is when you also collect other series/mangas like I do, that's very difficult to reach on everything. At the moment I will keep the Buu's. Apart from the Buu/Gohan Resin I have just been the C-17 (in the same scale as the Pichi Pichi C-18) and the Perfect Cell. Actually, should for weeks now come Goku face to face with Frieza. But these Resin delayed, because of the production. Unfortunately I have to wait. I collect only Dragonball figures/statues, for lack of space, I can not collect everything I would have liked.  Formerly I bought because I had space. Now I have to sort out or replace the figures. Sometimes difficult decisions... ...and I think that I'm going to buy the DOD Buu. Since I will not buy this year so many figures as last year. |
