We are only 5 days away from learning the final results of the Dimension of DRAGONBALL (D.O.D) voting poll. 1st Place: Cell 2nd Place: Vegetto 3rd Place: Super Saiyan 4 Goku 4th Place: Super Saiyan 3 Broly 5th Place: Super Saiyan Son Gohan I'm really hoping for Cell or SS4 Goku! Not sure how Vegetto is in 2nd place... He's very well represented in most figure lines, cell and SS4 not near as much! It's a popularity poll clear and simple. Even though there is already a lot of merchandise, people want more of the same  Megahobby Expo starts in about 12 hours, so I expect we'll see ALOT of new DOD figures shortly!! |

I am the complete opposite, one good solid figure of each character for more diversity is what I am about!! personally I can't wait for the announcements!! |

Sculpting figures can take months, this is probably why we didn't see what was expected from the poll results. The new prototypes released are: *SSjGSSj Goku *Super Saiyan 3 Broly *Android 18 Disappointing to say the least. I don't have pics, so sorry. If someone could post that, that'd be great  |

Well, it just made me curious because there was a "12" and then 月中旬受注開始予定 I was finally able to translate it however and it means this "Orders beginning in the middle of December" so yeah, you were right the peorder will go up in December and I agree it will probably be around March/April 2016 before we see him get released. |

Yeah, I agree, but we weren't given much choice. Half the options were for Saiyans, lol. Given we've got 18 confirmed now and 17 was omitted from the list, I'm gonna imagine 17 will be coming soon along with SSJGSS Goku and the 5 winners.
That makes 8 new releases. Kid Goku is number 3 in March, so these 8 will easily take us to the end of 2016 (November at least).
So what about 2017?? Well here is the list of the choices that didn't make the cut:
Beerus & Whis - With Super so popular now I'll be suprised if these 2 aren't released in 2016.
SSJ Gohan - Very Possible. Was in top 5 for a while!
Krillin - Possible. He has an SHF & Scultures.
SSJ Gotenks - Possible. Has an X-Plus and a Figuarts Zero coming.
Kid Buu - Possible. (They've given us Frieza and now Cell)
Gogeta - Movie character. Not as popular as Broly, but possible I guess.
Android 16 - Unlikely. SHF and SCultures didn't sell well.
Gohan (Child) - Unlikely.
Ginyu - Unlikely.
Interesting there was also no mentioned of SSJ Vegeta or SSJ Trunks, which suggests to me that they are coming anyway!! Along with a SSGSS Vegeta!!

Vegetto got the 1st spot at the end? Lol kind of weird, he was at the 4 or 5 position for a looong time. A real pity Bardock got in with the 5th because the sCultures is just perfect. I prefered to see Gohan to take that spot he held for a long time.  I'm guessing that SSJ3 Broly who is already being released before that poll, is going to be replaced by the character who got in the 6th spot? And what about Vegetto, do we know if it's in normal or SSJ phase?? Out of these I will keep an eye for Perfect Cell (I have the scultures 1 but it can be hugely improved, the face and coloring specially), Vegetto (got the HQDX but it can also be highly improved with the DOD sculpt) and SSJ4 Goku. |

Well, they did have a word box as an option that if the character you wanted was not apart of the poll you could suggest them down below if you wanted. Personally, I think that Android 17 will be coming in the future, you can't have 18 without him it just doesn't look right in my opinion. Fusion character are quite popular among fans it so I imagine eventually in the future we will see all the saiyan forms of Gogeta, Gotenks and Vegetto. As for Krillin he may not be as popular as Goku, Vegeta or Gohan but he still is well liked among fans as is Android 16 so I have doubt we will see both characters be released sometime probably in 2017 During the voting poll they had both SS Gohan and his younger form as an option to vote on so I agree we will see him in time in this line as to when that remains to be seen. Honestly, I would love to see a Future Gohan be released. He has always been my favorite incarnation of Gohan and it would be awesome to see him be made into a high quality figure. I hope when/if it happens that he has both a normal head and a SS head and that you can remove his arm. Hopefully, Megahouse does this and we see him get made eventually in the future. I would like to see Gohan be released because surprisingly there has been no mention of him even being a thought yet in the DOD line which is odd because he is one of the more popular characters in the Dragon Ball franchise. I don't even care of which Gohan it would be, as long as we got a figure of him in the line I would be happy with it. As for Android 17, I want him because with the Android 18 coming in 2016 it would just seem odd to have her be released and not have Andorid 17 to go with her. That is just my opinion though. |
