Saiyen, I believe you forgot to vote! Here's the rarity in order of rarest to most common, according to data ending in the year 2002 (http://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/my-mbti-results/how-frequent-is-my-type.htm): INFJ 1.5% ENTJ 1.8% INTJ 2.1% ENFJ 2.5% ENTP 3.2% INTP 3.3% ESTP 4.3% INFP 4.4% ISTP 5.4% ENFP 8.1% ESFP 8.5% ESTJ 8.7% ISFP 8.8% ISTJ 11.6% ESFJ 12.3% ISFJ 13.8% There's other numbers online that disagree with these, but these should be good enough to give us an idea of what the population of DBF is like. We already have some extremely interesting results. Look at our lack of ESFJ consuls (those people are probably all busy doing things in real life and not on their computer) and our high number of INFJs. Hopefully more of you will take the test though, because 25 voters isn't enough. I know some people off the top of my head that I've known a long time that I'd like to take the test. shifftymking, edison, PGV, sparkyss4, loki, cracker

Here is a chart that shows compatibility. You can think of this as both in terms of romance AND friendship. It's not something that is set in stone though. Just because someone is your blue type, doesn't necessarily mean you as an individual will like them better than other types, because you may have developed different needs that aren't typical of your personality type. For example, my blue types are INFP and ISFP. I actually find that I tend to apparently like INFJs the best, both as friends and as girlfriends, because we agree on a lot of things. I also like INTJ friends a lot too, but not romantically, because they typically don't understand feelings very well and I give a lot of them off. I know two girls who are ISFP, and I do/did really like them, but they just can't discuss things with me that are very insightful because they are S types and I run out of things to talk about that they like to talk about, and if I get too innovative they can't follow what I'm talking about. I know 1 INFP and I don't know her well enough to form an opinion yet, but I will keep y'all updated. The red types, for me, seem pretty accurate. Most of the S types are red for me, and I do struggle to have a good understanding with friends of these types. S types usually like to talk about things that have happened and base their decisions on things they have learned. N types typically like to talk about things that might happen as a result of ____ and base their decisions on their guy feelings. My most recent ex-girlfriend (an INTP) is who got me into this personality stuff and she claimed that she thought I had really highly functioning introverted intuition (abbreviated as Ni). (My primary cognitive function is extraverted feeling (Fe) and secondary is Ni, so she was saying that I have kind of a powerful Ni... which you can learn about cognitive functions here, but this website is hard to understand in my opinion www.cognitiveprocesses.com/Cognitive-Functions/index.cfm). Anyway, this chart is very interesting I think. I really like this chart. But it isn't perfect. As an ENFJ I'm supposed to match up really well with the two blue ones here, as well as INTP, and in my honest opinion, INFJ more than any other. You can also reference this page if you don't like the chart: www.massmatch.com/MBTI-2.phpFor me, ENFJ, it says "Best types for a relationship: ISFJ, ENFJ, ENTJ, INFJ, ENFP, INFP" which is a little more open minded. One of my ex-girlfriends was an ENFJ and we got along, but she was a major sports fan and thus our interests didn't mesh. I'm not sure about ENTJ... I only know two and they are guys, and they don't seem to think on the same wavelength as me. INFJ definitely, because I decided one of my exgfs was definitely one and I liked her a LOT. ENFP... more of my friends are ENFP than any other type, but dating one doesn't work great for me because they keep their personal feelings and thoughts private. INFP and ISFP I still need to explore, but I have trouble finding them apparently since they are so introverted. Interesting stuff.

I read the information about INFJs in that site, and it's kinda scary how it SO MUCH accurate. and it also kinda helpful, it helped me understand a lot of things that weren't so clear to me about myself.

There had to be a mistake! If anyone has read my comments, you can see that my opinion changes all the time and I constantly re-evaluate what I say. Judging in this personality stuff is a little different from judgemental. We assess data quickly and form a very black or white opinion that we then sway into a gray area the more data we collect (if the data leads us away from our original opinion). Perceiving/Prospecting types do the opposite generally, they are slower/more careful to make decisions. There's other components that make up a J vs. P though, but that's just a contextual example. Also I noticed a typo in my post yesterday. I meant "gut feelings" not "guy feelings" lol.

I did the test again. Now I'm a ISTJ-A ("The Logistician"). Before there was a ISFJ-A ("The Defender"). But it remains with the Sentinels! Logistician fits well! I work at the Post and there is a lot to do with logistics. Now when I look in this topic who fits character moderately to me would that Seal and Capsule x Nike! This is also true for the other ISTJ's and ISFJ's...
