Statues, Joints just ruin the design and lower the quality because it increases production costs. I dont want to play with them, I display them

So I am getting my SSJ3 goku statue in next week hopefully, it's now shipped. It'll be my first DBZ Statue. We shall see if I magically want to throw all my DBZ figures in the trash after I get it. However I highly doubt it.  OH boy. ita gonna happen man, Trust me. I got MSP son goku and felt like i was wasting my money on figuarts. EX goku is gonna blow you away! Let us know when you get him  Tell us where you stand on the articulated vs static figures debate then |

I love both now. before i was all about figures, but statues are as accurate as you can get to the anime/manga.

Same, I used to be super against statues cuz you couldn't pose em and I thought they were boring. After amassing such a large collection of figures though, it started becoming a pain to pose and maintain all the little guys and I took a chance on a statue cuz it looked so good. Now, I love statues just as much as figures. |

Another vote for figures. That's why I started collecting in the first place and have never cared about statues. Don't have any statues in my collection unless you wanna count the BoG DXF figures lol

I love both. I don't have a lot of statues, but from what I have, I love them. the pose is just so accurate and looks so good without any joints. I love my figures too cuz I can just put whatever pose I WANT. you don't need to put it in one and only pose forever like statues, and you can choose how you will display it. it can be smiling, laughing, fighting, charging, it can be ANYTHING.

Figures. But I like statues too. I have a few video game character statues. But damn can they be expensive lol.
