Miss out on the opportunity to purchase some figures because the scalped price is far past my reservation price.

This is an SDCC EXCLUSIVE... Why does everyone act like it should be easy to acquire. Isn't that the whole point of an SDCC exclusive? They could just not make one... because the situation like this did not happen previously as far as I know. SDCC Vegeta is now over 100 after a year of its release but this year's crap is priced 150 due to scalping. Fxck it. It's just barely got released and its priced almost same as Cell's wow.

The first price I saw him for on eBay was $120. It's NEVER been like that. Scalpers ruined it this year and will probably continue to do so from now on unless Bluefin imposes limits from the beginning.

I seriously believe that this was a big mistake by management@ sdcc and it will be the last. Next year I'm absolutely, positively sure that this will not happen again. There will be a strict 1 may be 2 per person limit.

This probably happened because bluefin wanted to make some quick money so they didn't care who bought them. They probably don't give a crap about the collectors.

It was not bluefin, it was those managing the Tamashii booth. And yes, companies don't care about collectors as theyre only in for it for the money as they are a business. As long as their product sells, thats all that matters. We collectors are stuck dealing with the problems.

Of course they "care about collectors." If they didn't, we wouldn't have any dbz figuarts.

i finally got my 2nd one.im in way more than i was thinking and still need one more.im like others hoping this is the last time its this hard to get a fig this close to the con but im doubtful because of how the companies want to sell out quick and dont care if this uber douche buys all of them or if they go to real collectors.

Nope, they really don't care about collectors, like do you really think this dbz line would continue on if no one purchased their product/figure? They would stop because theres no profit for them. Like why continue a line if no one is buying. It'd be a waste, but since people are buying its continuing. They aren't just making them for the fans, for collectors, theyre making them for the profit, for the business. And we fans are just collecting them. Thats it!
