Does anyone know if Mhtoyshop will change the price of the figures that are for preorder? For my case, the battle damaged goku and repaint vegeta. Thanks. yes they will. |

seeing what they go for now i dont feel quite as bad giving 109 and free shipping.i grabbed it first day to make sure but i'm hoping they will go down i still need 2 more one more for my display and one for a friend. You lucked out bud. Hopefully Bluefin will put them up soon. Once that happens, eBay prices will tank HARD. Pending it does actually come through. Not if scalpers get to them. Then they just continue what theyre doing thus ebay ones would be unaffected or go much higher, in which not tanking. It all matters if other online retailers carry it and for how much too. Like BigBadToyStore has already done it, have gone high. Just hope the other retailers don't follow BigBadToyStore.

I have a feeling there will be a limited time that the prices will drop, then they will start to rocket again. I wimped out and bought this guy off ebay. I know I would hate myself later if I didn't and seeing as how I missed the BBTS stock completely I bet it would be the same with Bluefin for me. Good luck to any and all who can score this guy for a decent price.

Also i thought only retailers can buy from bluefin directly ? i cant seem to add anything to the cart.

I just keep checking here to see if there are any posts that he went up on bluefin, so anxious! Apparently last year it took about 3 weeks for it to go up on Bluefin's site. So it's a lot of waiting. BBTS put it up like that because they were unable to acquire them as a PO from Bluefin, they said that Bluefin seemed to want to sell it themselves instead. Hope they are right. That is also why they charged scalper prices for them instead, since they got a very low number of them, and to get those they were having buyers go through the line several times. ToyzInTheBox has some that they are going to put up and their last communication said that it should be "Soon" and that the price is likely going to be around $90-100. If it's sub 100 I'd be really surprised. Just going to hope to snag one from Toyz, and if I can, grab another from Bluefin so I can have a regular Namek Goku, and one to put a scouter on for Ginyu Goku. |

Not SDCC on a whole, just the experience with the line and trying to buy the figure. First off they had a limit of 12 per person ( A case apparently ) on preview night, then as the weekend went on pulled it back all the way to 1 per person. Then they were capping the lines, quoting when they would uncap so you had to leave and return then, but couldn't wait nearby, but then they would uncap the line early anyway, and you got screwed. Also the line officials(?) were just ornery due to them having to deal with these complainers all the time and just got upset with everyone as a reaction, which helped nothing. |

I couldn't imagine to go through all of that to not even get one. I wonder if they might do something in regards to this stuff down the road? I feel like the location is at capacity, many can't even get a ticket, and the figures are getting harder to even get. Is there normally a cap on the SDCC figure? Im kind of surprised they let people get 12 at the start since the SDCC figures look like they might be in short supply at the moment. I would think that they would of forecasted that if there is a somewhat short supply of him, that they would moderate him a little better than they did initially.
