I'm still not worried. They always "sell out" at the event but there will be some on Bluefin, I guarantee it. Every SDCC so for has gone up on Bluefin afterwards. How much does usually Bluefin Premium or Toyz sell each of them? MH Toy Shop's prices were 130 but marked as sold out now, ridiculous |

A prolonged and agonizing death to all scalpers! And may their foreskins wither and rot with pestilence... just paid 170 for a SDCC Namek Goku. Not like I had much of a choice in the matter. All other eBay bidders are far king morons bidding up all the other auctions. Looks like I'll have to sell off an SDCC Goku to recoup my costs. A sad day for us true DBZ collectors. What is the world coming to!

Used to be at the event people would mark the figures up like $20 to make a bit off picking up extra figures but starting these figures at double the price is insulting. Add to the fact that people are charging Canadians an extra $40-50 for shipping on top of that and I'm officially done trying to get all these figures anymore. It started with Mexican Goku and now this. It's just pushed me over my limit of it not being fun to collect these now. |

MHToyshop managed to get some SDCC Goku's and were selling them on eBay for about $150.

People are greedier than ever now. I think I can safely say that the majority of people that buy the exclusives have the intention to sell them. I'm kind of glad Bluefin limited their stock per person at the convention so scalpers couldn't walk out with cases. My guess is they only wanted to sell a select number at the event and the rest will be distributed to online retailers and kept for Bluefin Premium (majority of the stock for Bluefin of course). That way, they can sell them for a markup through their own official channels and instead of getting $45 per figure, they get $65. Only saying $65 since that's how much Arlian Vegeta cost last year through Bluefin.

Bluefin still wants to make profit too for their operating costs, investors, etc. So they will indeed jack up the price slightly if they sell SDCC Goku on their website.

Rumor is that the numbers of actual SDCC Goku product were not equivalent to the numbers of SDCC Arlia Vegeta.
So they essentially made much less than last year.
Also, Dragon Ball is back on everyone's radar. This was a huge year for Dragon Ball all around so it's going to draw more attention now.

Lol you guys are hillarious, buying these up for $180 on ebay. Just like last year and the year before it, this will be on Bluefin's website in a week or 2 for $65-75
