And for everyone who have wondered... Expected, but those look fantastic regardless. Will be neat to see other heads on the battle damaged body like SSGSS Goku, Gohan, and SS3 if a neck swap is possible. |

I can't post all the reviews I've seen but here are a few (just click on the pics).   A video review to top it off...a very useful review for anyone interested in head swaps, the reviewer placed the normal Goku, SSGSS Goku, and Ultimate Gohan heads on the body. It makes it painfully obvious why the skin inconsistency is a problem (and in a pleasing coincidence the preview image shows one of the head swaps). |

Although this figure is obviously 100 times better than my jakks version of bd goku This jakks goku will still be one of my favorite figures of all time. Now, Something that caught my attention in the video is that the gimmick of pulling Goku's upper torso from the lower torso is now in the abs and not in the waist. For me this is a relief, for I ran into a prblem with my ssj3 Goku. I was cleaning it and I guess some soap loosened up the waist really bad, and now it is very floppy( if you know a cure please tell me). I can't wait to have this goku. Attachment DeletedP.S. Ok, so looking at that video review, Goku's eyebrows are a actual gold color?! I figured it'd be the say yellow of his hair or a bit darker yellow, but gold? What the?

An amazing and purely stunning figure we got here. Though it is disappointing that they gave him the wrong boots. They should have yellow lining with red laces. Perhaps a minor issue, but still. Branjita |

Branjita It's actually correct for the Manga version, which is how we get these figures initially, as Japan is more into the Manga than Anime.  Of all the things, I'm rather surprised this the one that is brought up constantly with this line.  Wait for SDCC for a repaint to make it Anime accurate. |

As much as I don't like the manga versions, this Awakening Goku IS accurate. They only do this so they can hit us with an anime version for SDCC...those sly bastards

I just don't like the name of it. Its not awakening as hes supposed to have his blue undershirt intact when he goes SS for the first time. This is more like battle damaged as the fight progressed along against Frieza. But other than that its a darn cool figure!

The head is the only thing that I would consider anime accurate for this figure. The darker shade in the hair and eyebrows appears to be directly from the anime. Specifically when Goku first transformed.
