I'm kind of considering getting into collecting the movie collection line and I was just wondering if they're worth it. Like are they high quality? Do they break easy? How pose ableare they? Stuff like that. Any help at all will be appreciated.

Stuff like that. Any help at all will be appreciated. I personally despise every last one of them aside from 4 of the villains (lord slug, broly, super 13, and normal 13). The sculpting on all the saiyan characters make them look like a mix between steroid users and meth heads, and they look nothing like their Show or manga counterparts. Some people absolutely love them but I am not one of these people. I avoid them like the plague. |

Yeah like Caps said, they look really odd to me. I don't know, but I've, personally, never liked them.

lol yeah theyre not very good looking, especially the vegeta one (cringe in disgust), but i might collect them somewhere down the road anyway.

I only own Cooler, Meta Cooler, Lord Slug, Porunga, and Piccolo. They're all pretty cool. I'd like to get Broly and Super 13 as well.
Maybe just start off with ones like Lord Slug and Cooler since those are about the only articulated versions of those characters and see if you like them and want to collect more.

The only worthy ones I'd say are the villains, and the ss bd vegeta. The rest look... As caps said, like druggie users.

i have just about all of them, except for the spacesuit ones (which I don't want). Some, like Vegeta and Vegito do look weird, but meh. IDC. I figured, since I was deep into collecting them, why not. Plus, it didn't hurt getting them cheap. As far as quality goes, the IF Labs versions seem like better quality because of their paint jobs, but that's not to say that the Jakks Giant Ape line is poor quality. Those Giant Ape Broly's are something else. I love em' all, except the one w/greenish skin. They also did a pretty good job on the Bojack's as well. They will not break easily, unless you drop em off a 10ft wall, or something like that. lol. And as far as posing goes, they have a lot of points of articulation, so posing them isn't a problem. Unless you're expecting to pose them like the Figuarts figures. Cause nothing compares to that. If you have any other q's, let me know. I will more than likely be able to answer you. Unless you're asking about those spacesuit Goku's and Krillin.

Waaaaaaay too small. You would have a better chance of buying the Irwin doll Vegeta and having him close to scale with Medicom Goku unless you go for a statue. |

Really I thought the movie collection toys were in the nine to ten inch range. Isn't Vegeta supposed to be about a foot or so smaller than Goku? |

I don't know how tall the Medicom Goku is, but I can tell you that the non battle damaged Vegeta is about 9 inches from the tip of his hair, to his feet. And that goes for all the non battle damaged Vegeta's. The battle damaged versions are about 7.5 inches from head to toe

The ssj one definently wont work. But the base form Vegeta might work. I'd need to see them next to each other. But what are the chances of that? Seems like I'm the only guy on here with Medicom Goku.
