I hear a lot about how fragile the Bandai Hybrid figures can be but I was just wanting to find out from the people who own some of these what exactly the problems are. Like specifically which of your figures are the worst and what parts are the most likely to break or fall off?

The only one I'm seriously interested in is Kid Buu but still want to hear what other peoples experiences have been like with their Hybrids.

I only own one Hybrid that ToadKart traded me years ago that was/is still mint and unplayed with. It's the cell saga SS Gohan. I've never really posed it. I've only removed the arms, head, and torso from the body and switched on the alternate one w/o the cape attached maybe 10 to 20 times in the like 8 years I've probably owned it. There's these little white cylinders that hold his arms in the torso for some reason, and they are really loose and fragile. They don't drop the arms, but the shoulders will droop because the little white cylinders that hold the arm don't have enough resistance to keep the shoulders high up in the torso. Nothing has broken technically though, but I know the feet/ankles are commonly broken on Gohan in particular.

I've seen that figure in some of the pictures you've posted, but I forgot it was the one I used to own, lol.

Yeah, I think it was mint with everything except alternate hands. I think I traded you some other Gohan for it.

I only have Kid Buu and Broly, and Broly is the only one I've had out of the box. It's probably the largest Hybrid, and it feels pretty sturdy, none of the joints feel loose or anything. I haven't handled it a whole lot though.

i bought a few, didn't like how the articulation was messed up on arms, while feet are really attached in a fragile way. Kid Buu is worth to own though.

That's not that bad considering you live in Australia. Is it shipping from the U.S.?

Hong Kong actually. I'm basing the time frame off of how long it took for my Fist of the North Star Kenshiro figure to arrive from over there, which by the way is an awesome figure.
