I've tried to explain this to people myself and they just wont listen. They dont want to hear anything that may discredit their expensive purchase. I agree completely. I talked to a collector who "gladly" spent $400 on a single Figuarts. I don't even remember which one it was. He was also MIB collector, so he wasn't taking it out of the package... Come to think of it, this was one of the people who I was arguing with about the (imo) reasonable price of the US release of the SMSP. He said it wasn't worth it, and I found his logic to be whole-heartedly baffling... I'm a MIB collector for the most part, so I can see somebody willing to pay a bit extra to find it in the condition they desire, as that can be a little difficult at times. But I guess it just comes down to what people like and what they're personally comfortable paying. So long as the collector doesn't expect their $400 figure to retain that value then I guess all that matters is they're happy with the purchase. Haha. |

I guess I'm a b*tch, but seeing this re-issue of the SMSP, and the two new ones, I'm laughing hardcore at the people who spent $400+ on the Two Dimensions.  I really like the hair on "The Gold". |

It'll be interesting to see how prices fluctuate. I don't think we can say for sure that they'll drop out, it's all dependent on how many more are produced and how demand is affected. If the same number as before are produced and the demand stays constant (which it could due to how many people were unable to get them the first time) we could see prices stay the same or just drop slightly. They could also produce a crap ton and the bottom drop out of the whole thing, who's to say. |

Kind of like how The Medicos Goku went up to like $600 average price before the re-issue in 2014. Now you can get a version 1 under $150. |

woah, that's not a good continuation in terms of correlations because of the huge size difference. Everyone who collected MSP must be VERY dissapointed with how everything turned out.
