It's like they can't let the figure be perfect. They always do that one minor thing that makes me disappointed from the figure.
The normal Trunks could have been perfect without the manga colors, this SS Trunks could have been perfect without that stupid gold hair.

my very first dbz figure was the irwin saiyan armor trunks w/ gold hair. I have no problem with this having gold hair.

I kind of dig the gold hair, but it won't look good on my shelf next to the recolored Gohan. It might look good next to my Figuarts Zero EX Goku, though.

It's not even that it's gold, it's metallic gold. Metallic gold is an unnatural color for hair, that's why it looks weird.
I wouldn't mind it so much if it was more yellow, with just a touch of gold for a cool reflective effect. Then it would look pretty cool.

I've watched the video of Shia Hauls. The MSP Gotenks (19cm) is unfortunately too big. I would take him if he would be 15-16 cm. He looks super, perhaps the best Gotenks with normal hair, but I will not buy it and I hope one day he will come at the Scultures. And you? Will you buy it? Still debating myself about it, the figure is great and doesn't look too bad next to some of the DX figures imo. If you nonetheless buy it, then post pictures of him with some HQ DX. Imo it is too big, but still the smallest MSP.  |

Now that I look at it, it actually does look pretty cool.
I just still wish they followed the same coloration theme for the rest of the line.
Some of the gold coloring on figures is more brown than yellow, and looks like crap because it's too dark.
