List of figures to scale with Irwin and Jakks figures

I saw a seller selling a Trunks separately so I only bought the Trunks. Its head slightly bigger than the Irwin long hair one but still look good to swap it.
Look like the girl with red hair closer to 5 inch scale but I'm not interest in game characters.
I just remember I have her ss version. Now I'm considering buying whole set just for her.
I can't found the set of Grand Priest on Taobao. Where's your picture come from?

Just bought a DS Cell Saga Gohan due to Gohan wearing his old outfit again in new movie.
Their joint are the same so the head of adult Gohan can put on it easily.(Bran, I guess you sold it...)
Evolve can release a new series of new movie by doing that without creating any new mold.

Bought another head for Cheelai, look better than the Lego one.

Bought an enlarged bootleg of Hirudegarn to see whether its head can be use for 12 inch custom.
It's smaller than AB one but its head is bigger, still too small for custom though.

gutz098 has been making some 5 inch scale customs from Dragonball Evolve figures. They are really great ideas! Take a look at them here.

Consider buying a shf first form cell too.
Saw someone selling it a little cheaper with dropping arms. Should be extremely careful when rolling its arms I guess.



Bought some more dragon archives.
Swap the head of King Chappa for my custom.
The rich man is too small for 5 inch or shf, but we don't mind for such a minor character.
The Goku(turning to Oozaru) I hope it a litter bigger, still fine for 5 inch scale.

The set of bootleg Grand Priest finally shows up on Taobao so I bought it.
The Grand Priest is 5 inch scale, and the Gowasu can easily make it taller by take off its legs and stuff something between body and legs, but I already
made its custom anyway.

The cell with dropping arms just a little cheaper is not worth buying. I bought the new one from shop.
Not just the arms, the joints of wings are easy to break too. And the wings and tail make it hard to stand stable.
Overall, this figure is fragile that make it difficult to produce bootleg.

The only legit shf I bought before are android 16 and golden frieza. I usually wait for bootlegs.
But the line of bootlegs seems stop for a long time that make me begin to look at the new releases of shf now.

Bought Android 17 and 18 too. If they're a little bit shorter than evolve Goku, I'll not do anything,
but unfortunately, they're the same height of Goku. I need to cut their legs shorter to scale with 5 inches anyway.





The size of shf cell's head is fine for me. But if you think it's too large, just for reference, here is how it look to swap it with dwc head.

And I want my King Yemma a little bit bigger so I bought a wcf Yemma to swap its head.
I dug the wcf head until it can put on the figure wihout cutting anything.
But you can see below it can't cover the head completely, unless I cut away the horn of the original head.

Oh my Kami... those pictures make me want to get SHF Imperfect Cell really bad now. The DWC head looks really good on him!

Gonstead  I thought I had a pic saved that someone posted of Irwin Imperfect Cell next to the Giochi Preziosi one, but now I can't find it and don't know where I saw it forever ago. The GP Cell has really short legs compared to his arm length, so his height isn't very good for 5 inch scale, if you're picky like me.

I did find this group photo I saved off Facebook at some point. I'm not sure who took this photo.



Edit: Here's a photo by Dimitri Both of GP Imperfect Cell next to GP's special colored SBC vol 1. Goku. As you can see, his size is not very good for Imperfect Cell.




The SHF Cell First Form is going to make it painfully obvious that Jakks' Semiperfect Cell is too small in a 5 inch scale collection, but I don't believe there's a better option. A custom figure would likely have to be made from either Dragon Stars Perfect Cell or Figure-rise Standard Perfect Cell. You can see Dragon Stars Perfect Cell on the right in this image.
