Wow timone that first pic I honestly thought it was from the anime or a cell lol. I have a few of these that I built and then tried to paint but the plastic on them doesn't hold cheap paint at all it's like u can use the markers or u need an airbrush. I always thought about one of the buggers kits and trying to build it I think 1/60 cuz I've built the 1/144 and 1/100

Well, just spent most of the day fixing the heating system in my car. Ended up having to buy a new blower motor. Works now that I got it all back together, but there goes some extra money I could have used on figures.

Is it okay to take back an offer made after realizing the seller was offering what you think is a bootleg? I had made an offer on a set of luffyxgoku scultures but i did some research and noticed they could be fake. The figures were really shiny and were missing all shading. I asked the seller to decline the offer and not ship the item. I also told them that I would file a claim if they took the offer seeing as i suspected them of being fake. They then replied and told me to never buy any of their products or ever do business with them again. So yeah, is that alright to do, to take back an offer on something after you realize its possibly fake?

I love and hate chinese bootleg sellers, the second you call them on their bootleg crap and you are no longer a customer they become rude. however, you really shouldnt have threatened him. you could have been nice about it and he might have not been rude back also, hes pretty stupid to tell you not to buy from him again when he can just block you lol and its not a right thing to do or a wrong thing to do, its nuetral. bootlegs shouldn't even exist really, it would make MOST collectors lives WAY easier

It would have caused more problems in the future what with the possible claim i would have filed. The person claims they took the figures out of the box themselves, like thats fine and all but that doesnt take away from the fact that the figure is lacking all shading and looks like crap. They didnt have too tell me not to buy from them, I had already made that decision

U might want to be careful in the future because by saying what u said it could be considered a threat (or well that's not the right word) but by saying that if the seller wouldn't have retracted Ur bid and u did end up having to open a claim the claim rep would read where u wrote that and it could cause u to lose the claim. Same goes for telling a buyer/seller u will leave negative feedback if they don't do something ubwant them to do. EBay is funny when it comes to stuff like that. Ur best bet would have been to just ask him to retract Ur bid and not even mention that u think they r fakes and wait and see what the seller says if says he want or wants to know y u want to cancel Ur bid then u would tell them u r only interested in legit figures and u suspect these are fakes and that u mean no disrespect but u just don't want to buy a fake. Try to be as nice as possible in the process so if he still says no and u have to open a claim u look like u were trying to work with the seller vs being a dick then u can explain to the claim rep why u think they r fake and what not and more times than not u will win a case just by be polite and trying to work with the seller/buyer. Hope this helps/makes sense.

However, at the time i thought this was a legitimate product made by Banpresto, however after doing more research i have come to a conclusion that this product is in fact a bootleg. I would like you to please decline the offer i made. If you end up taking the offer and ship the product, i will have no choice but to file a claim and state that the product is not as listed. I am sorry for the trouble this may have caused and hope you have a great day. is that okay or was i too rough on them? thanks shifty

No that wasn't that bad just in the future I would follow the lay out I mentioned above and I would never say anything about opening a claim or anything like that. U just try Ur best to reason with them to get the result u want and if u can't get the result u want after trying at least 3-4 times then just file a claim without telling them and remember the buyer is almost always right and eBay will side with the buyer 9 times out of 10. At least he canceled Ur bid without it being to big of a hassle

*cries* I really hate being broke. There's an item I want on Ebay but I don't have the money to pay for it and the international shipping is total ass so I would more than likely have to have someone in the USA act as a middleman. I'd ask a friend or two who lives in the USA who could help (via borrowing money and repaying it later) but then I'd feel like a total dick if I did that. What really sucks is that it's the cheapest that I've seen the item go for in many months and this could be the only one I'll see for a while this low. Plus, it's ending in 2 hours! Woe is me. there is a website called "Shipllama" that you can use, similar to buyee except its for american websites and ebay. not certain if it works outside of canada though LOL, thats hilarious. I love and hate chinese bootleg sellers, the second you call them on their bootleg crap and you are no longer a customer they become rude. however, you really shouldnt have threatened him. you could have been nice about it and he might have not been rude back also, hes pretty stupid to tell you not to buy from him again when he can just block you lol and its not a right thing to do or a wrong thing to do, its nuetral. bootlegs shouldn't even exist really, it would make MOST collectors lives WAY easier yeah i know i shouldnt have been rude myself but i honestly felt lied to and did not want that transaction to go through. They didnt have too tell me not to buy from them, I had already made that decision when dealing with chinese sellers always assume "bootleg untill proven otherwise". like shifty said and like i tried to say, never make threats as you WILL get bitten back U might want to be careful in the future because by saying what u said it could be considered a threat (or well that's not the right word) but by saying that if the seller wouldn't have retracted Ur bid and u did end up having to open a claim the claim rep would read where u wrote that and it could cause u to lose the claim.
