Should have known that one. The real question is how much would people be willing to pay to get through the door? Is anyone willing to go to a convention in Indiana?

500 members... neat! Do you know how many individual visitors we have had here? Of course not, because I haven't told y'all lately! We have had 140,926 visits to the site by 29,621 different people/devices since we started, and that doesn't include however many people I missed when I had the tracking screwed up for several weeks when DBF was first started. On September 19th we had our most sessions, which was 669. 669 sessions = new and returning users coming to DBF. So if I came on here 8 times that day, then 661 of those 669 were not me. Our average lately is more like 460 sessions. We've had 1,294,144 total page views! The average person looks at 9 pages when they come here and spends just under 13 minutes on the site each time they come to DBF. 21% of the people who come here never come back and never become a returning visitor. Overall really good data and results. So despite only having 500 members, we have had over 29,000 separate visitors come here. That's tons of lurkers who don't get the member benefit of being able to see our buy/sell/trade area, member collections, or checklists! 76.4% of our visitors have English as the default language on their computer/phone/tablet, so the language barrier isn't keeping too many of those 29,621 people from joining .

I remember joining years ago, in the old Forum. I would always lurk a lot, always looking at member's customs and pictures of collections. Then I went several years with out logging in. years later, I came back tried logging in and after so many attempts remembered my pass word the I started posting and then I was redirected here. Then I finally got active. I remembering seeing pictures of the Toy fair and seeing king cold and getting so exited and going all crazy looking for Cold in every target and walmart in the proximity but never finding him lol, I was glued to the form lurking like crazy back then looking for all the latest jakks figures released. Still kind of sad the Adder, Ozaru figures never got released from those toy fair pictures :/

It's good in theory, doesn't work. Good example Majin Rob's forum. 50 New spam accounts a day!!! If you have any ideas how to stop people from joining, please tell!

Well, there's definitely a lot of activity on here. I was out of town a little over two weeks, and there were posts in over 180 different topics on here. That's a lot! For some reason the DBF Facebook page got over 60 new likes in my absence too!
