Ah, damn. Such an awesome, awesome prize. Some day, I'll buy myself one! A million congratulations to you, surlyj. Enjoy that bad boy. And a million thanks to Cap for putting this contest on! Seriously, man. To you and Bran, thanks for making us this awesome site. Great vid. I hope if you or anyone decides to do something for next year's anniversary, we have even more people get involved. Happy one year anniversary, DBF!

Very honored and excited to win. Haven't been part of this community long, but I enjoy it. The discussions are sincere, courteous and really stay on point in the threads.
I'm embarrassed to say this will be my first non-figuarts dbz figure other than a few gashapons. Though I've been a big fan of the show for a long time, I never really liked any of the figures that were released that I saw in local stores and only recently (few years) became savvy to the plethora of stuff online, but had already jumped down the figuarts rabbit hole. I collect a lot of things so I try to stick to a "one representation per character" rule. But this is such a cool figure and a cooler prize. To be honest when I first thought about buying a ticket I was thinking I'd probably sell it if I won, but that's changed and I'll definitely be keeping and cherishing it as the focal point of my DBZ collection. Though my displays will be down for a few months while I move, I will definitely be posting a ton of photos when it arrives! The only question that remains is to open or not to open.
Thanks to Capsule for putting on the contest and even moreso for starting the board with Branjita. Happy one year anniversary to those who have been around and I look forward to the community growing stronger and stronger!

Something showed up today!
I didn't expect this thing to be quite so big. The detail and quality is awesome. Such a fantastic piece and so grateful to now own it!
Unfortunately, I have no displayed collection at the moment to show it off with. I packed up everything I have about two weeks ago and may not get to unpack and display again for a long time... 3-6 months most likely. But when I finally get to, I can't wait to put this beast at the center of the display.
As much as I hate to open something so pristine... I may eventually have to. I'm dying to see this guy outside of the clamshell prison!!!
I'm almost a little mad. Seeing how awesome this is, I'm now going to be compelled to get more pieces from this line.

Awesome... I'm glad it showed up safe and sound! You made sure to pull the little envelope with the letter of authenticity and 1 of 100 card in it out of the box right? You definitely don't want to lose that lol.

Open that bad boy right up. That piece deserves to be set free and seen in it's true glory.
At least in my opinion. It you want to preserve it, that's fine. You won it fair and square, so you can do what you want with it!

Oh yeah I definitely got the card Capsule Wave - I'm very torn. I used to keep a lot of stuff MISB, now only a few select things. My guess is I will eventually succumb and open him.

If you like him, you should buy the cheaper, nonrare version to open instead! You can get the regular version for under a hundred bucks!

I didn't know there was a regular version. What's the difference?

The one you won is painted in red tinted colors. The regular version is painted in regular colors. I think @m5jagdragonpanzeriv posted a comparison pic of the two somewhere, but I can't find the pic anywhere. Here's what the regular one looks like. And here's a very, very cheap one that is legit... I am pretty sure. I'm not sure if a bootleg of this exists or not, but this seller is in Japan, so I would assume it is legit. www.ebay.com/itm/Dragonball-Z-kai-Ichiban-Kuji-B-kaiohken-SON-GOKOU-figure-Banpresto-japan-/141407327296?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20ec889440The one you have is so rare that it would be dumb to open it unless you really like that he is red tinted Kaioken colors. Just trying to help prevent you from making a $500 mistake.
