hey this is looking awesome. I personally think the articulation will be pointless for a figure like this and I would sculpt everything instead. Also the vest sculpt is a bell shape. it would be better if you made it like branjitas picture where the suit kinda goes around his stomach then hangs. you can also make the buttons appear like they are going to pop cus how tight it is. you currently have a perfect straight line down the center instead give it some curves like in the picture. So yea I would just say add more curves so the tight suit hugs his stomach and add more wrinkles under the arms etc. I know you aren't done sculpting the suit just don't forget. Great work so far!

The sculpting is basically done (except his pockets), but I have TONS of sanding to do because the white apoxie was starting to give me lots of trouble. I am usually, especially with Wheelo, able to smooth things out really well while sculpting with my finger and only needing a little bit of sanding, but this will require hours of it. In addition, since the white apoxie was a little annoying, I didn't have time to make some of the clothing details. I worked with large chunks of apoxie that began drying as I was just finishing getting smooth, so some of the perfections in the sculpt will have to come from carving the dried apoxie, not a way I like to do it. But oh well. I also need to thin his upper arms because as of now, he has super-fat-woman-jello-looking biceps. I just need to straighten them out, by really cutting away. The dremel will come in handy there I'm sure. Also, even though I superglued his original legs to make sculpting easier, I noticed after the fact that the right leg was bent from the start. Only way I could have avoided it was by cutting the original leg in half and cutting an angled chunk out. Not a problem though. He still stands. This just means he'll look like he's either walking, or standing like he's some sort of GQ Bad A. lol

Awesome! It's a shame that a large Kingpin figure doesn't exist to make this figure easier to produce! The marvel legends one simply wasn't suitable.

I agree. Would have saved tons of time. Or at least some fat guy in a suit. It would seem like something would exist, but doesn't.

Looking at this on the computer now, I think the hardest thing you're going to run into is getting those creases on the pants to look right. Wow, that is going to be tough as hell. That's going to take some serious sanding skill to get those creases straight if that's important to you! I googled and got a picture that might help for referencing. Something else that concerns me is the way the crotch looks on the figure. It doesn't currently look like part of the pants, it looks like a t-shirt underneath the jacket that isn't tucked into the pants. Will you be able to get rid of that "ledge" appearance and make it flow into the legs better? Or is there newspaper too close to the surface preventing that from happening? You're currently missing the pockets on the jacket, but you probably know that and it'll be easier to sand his jacket first, then add them. Making him as fat as this artwork isn't incredibly important, so I think the jacket is fine without bulging out. This artwork is actually a little fatter than necessary. That screenshot above is interesting, because he's wearing a 1-button jacket. The DWC of Yemma is wearing a 2-button one. In Saiyan Saga, when Goku goes to snake way, he's wearing a 2 button one. I'm not sure where that screenshot above is from... maybe the Janemba movie. Also, don't forget to sculpt the two buttons on his jacket sleeves, and I think scratching in some hair on his hands would be good too, even though it doesn't appear in every scene. Also, if you are wanting to match Saiyan Saga, his tie is more pumpkin orange than the pics above. See attached. When you sculpt the head, I think you should be able to easily sculpt the symbol on his hat with a knife blade. I think that would be appropriate because that symbol (to me) comes across as a gold emblem, not something printed on his hat. The DWC did it as a printed logo. The Yemma artwork for his character sheet makes it look much less elaborate than that. It doesn't look like caligraphy on it, which is what makes me think it's something that was carved and put on his hat. I guess it's not very important which version you do, but I think this one would be easier to just sculpt with a knife blade, paint the logo black, then dry brush it goldenrod/dark yellow. The side view on this character sheet clearly shows the logo isn't an emblem that is 3D and stuck on his hat though, so my interpretation that it's like a coin glued to his hat is wrong...

I plan to add a bulging effect to the gut. There is newspaper under that 'ledge' effect you see. More apoxie can even it out though. The pants creases are important and will be done rather easily with the dremel. Should I make the pants baggier above the shoe? Mine are currently not as wide as the pic. Don't worry about the hair and buttons etc, I will do a run through and make sure I got everything from the concept art you showed previously. I actually already did the sleeve buttons, but I made three. I'll just sand one off. I think he needs smaller hands, no? ...ooh and sleeves on his wrist. As for the face, it's a whole different project that I will do when the body is done. I'm actually waiting for someone to just give me a DWC Yemma head for the sake of saving me so much effort.....hehe Capsule x Nike that should totally be my Scene Stealers reward, sorry to request lol

I think the hands are just fine. This way he can hold a book or the stamp he uses. You should totally build him a desk. Go to a hobby store and get some balsa wood and make his desk You can cut that thin wood with an x-acto knife or an x-acto knife saw blade attachment really easily. I made the gong for my Scene Stealer 3 Goz/Mez scene out of that wood and the piece of wood cost me like 50 cents. You could probably get all of the materials for under $5. You should definitely do the ankles baggier. He doesn't always have cuffs on his pants but you can make cuffs if you want.

Fixed the pants at the ankles, evened out his crotch area lol, corrected the shoes, and made his jacket look tighter by adding fat on his sides coming out and flaring the ends of the jacket. No sculpting left to do that I can think of except the pockets.

Ok, I'm done messing with this guy. Getting too tedious. Ready to paint. A DWC Yemma head would look so beautiful on this body lol and would save me 8 hours of work.
