Preorders for Goku and Bardock started on BIJ and they are already sold out. It says Goku measures 22cm and Bardock 21cm without the bases! So they are veeeery big. For reference, the HQDX Bardock who is pretty big is about 19,5cm from feet to the top of his hair and Ichiban Kuji Goku is about 19cm. In the other side, adult Goku of sCultures 2 and SSJ Trunks of HQDX -figures that have a pretty good size & volume-, that are in crouching poses measures about 14cm and 15cm respectively. So I'm guessing Radditz, Nappa and SSJ Vegeta, and to a less degree Cell 2nd, will fit pretty nicely with the other sCultures/HQDX figures. So they will be more about DX size than DXF. All my thinking is based on this pic:  So if anything, Goku and Bardock will be bigger than what sCultures are used to be. It's nice to see some diversity in the line. I don't have all of them (about half), but 4 of my 16 are Goku in some form or another. The scaling is weird on these, but the sculpts and poses are so nice I don't care. Just glad to have them!

@redstar Thanks, good prices m8! I'm still going to wait a bit I think. Bardoon They are legit. I have bought 2 times on inxstation and it was very good. They were very fast answering to my messages and they can split your order in 2 packages to avoid customs charges. I don't remember if they declare a total lower amount, I would say that yes. But you better ask.

The latest figures I buy mostly with him. Otherwise on eBay. takezo, I have at the inxstation the Scultures 5 (Goku and Bardock) ordered, and both figures equal to two times. Man never know! |

It's legit. Bigbadtoystore's preorders are already sold out. |

Sorry dude! Keep an eagle eye out though. I'm sure other retailers will start getting them. Also keep an eye on BBTS because they could have cancellations and that could open up some extra pre-orders.
If they follow the trend, Amazon might pick them up as well since they carried SCultures 4 as well.

I'm holding out for Amazon, they still have some good prices on a majority of scultures. I picked up 10 from eBay for 250 ranging from series 2 to 4. I'm trying so hard to catch up before series 5 starts.
Does anyone have have a list of all the kuji Ichiban? I have looked and can't find one.

Not sure if I'm willing to spend almost $14 on shipping, and that's just for one figure. Either way, I agree with jawafive. I'll sleep on it and wait for Amazon's listings. They always have SCultures listed, but it's usually after they already come out in the Japanese market. I don't understand the bum-rush and struggle to get figures from pre-orders when you can just wait until they're out from a US seller who doesn't sell them for that much more than the Japanese ones. Including the charges for shipping, you're pretty much paying the same thing. Even the DOD Goku and the FiguartsZero EX SSj3 Goku are pretty much the same price on Amazon right now as they are on any Japanese site. |
