Oh, I forgot you were in the UK. You should definitely put that in your profile. There's a field for Location and it isn't required by default (I can't make it a required field or I would) and that way you can put that and it'll display under your avatar Sculpting stuff like this is too difficult. Maybe if you're lucky you can find an acylic tube with a 1/8" hole in it so you can easily put a 3/32" power pole inside it!

ok ive set my location yeah I once sculpted a sword for Kuuga from the toku show Garo and its hard to do things that shape and size i'd certainly love it if I could find something that requires minimum effort!!!!

Thanks Vedreta and Bane, im glad people like it Bane your gif reminds me that even though its not essential for Z, I would like to maybe make a Power pole for Goku, but that's just another little job I cant deal with at the moment!! maybe in the future... Well whenever you tackle it, I know it will be cool!

He looks awesome man! Pretty darn good for your first figuarts custom. Heck he looks even better than my Yamcha, way better!!! Just noticed 1 thing, idk if it's just me or what but his neck seems long because maybe the head is not properly put back on his neck? It looks like it's just sitting on top of his neck. Overall great job.

I like him, though there are certain little fixes that you'll get better at. His belt should be the same color as his wristbands and his head a little lower on the neck. The second pic is really nice, but the last one has the head with a scar that's a bit too wide. Good job on the hair too. I'd give him an 8/10.

I'd give him an 8/10. thanks...haha, the smiley face was a rush job when I corrected the serious face hairline... so much so the crossed scar has fallen off!! yeah I agree apart from the wristbands ( im not saying I have the exact correct shade anywhere either but...) I really gave myself a headache 1. trying to figure out the exact colour combos and 2. trying to approximate the anime colours into colour with what paint I had ...from this I found that 1. the anime colours change from one scene to the next sometimes and there isn't a true consistency but of course there is a set scheme that isn't always adhered to and 2. trying to get the exact same colour as what is on screen is very difficult/near impossible!! - I think brightness of screen has something to do with it... (even the official figuarts krillin gi is weird because it looks too much of a red orange in real life but take a photo of it and it can change the redish orange to looking more orange...) in the anime it appears that the orange is lighter at the beginning and darker later in the series but looking at my dbz hero collection cards that use stills from the anime it seems the colour change isn't so apparent on the cells and they more or less look the same, whether that's just how the cards are printed though could be another thing... what I did find was that the figuarts super saiyan goku blue and yellowy orange only really appears when he fights android 19, when hes not powering up... a similar one is used when he powers up but he has the purple wristbands and sash... so it begs the question why they used it? i guess thats part of the reason why the SDCC is so desireable... in the end I just thought forget this and used what I thought was best... anyway these are some pics I had as reference, notice the subtle difference in armband and belt colour ( even yamchas shoes aren't the exact same blue as his belt or wristbands), the same goes for goku and krillin - matching shirt and belt with lighter blue wristbands all the way through until goku changes his sash to match his wristbands... (edit: actually I forgot that gokus time in friezas spaceship rehab chamber seemingly dyed his belt the same colour as his wristbands! as is clear to see when he goes super saiyan!!) Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deletedexcpect to see repaints of all my figuarts!!!!!!!!!!!!! bah, its sent me colour crazy!!!!!!!!!! but at the end of the day it doesnt really matter - its bascially orange and blue!

You make good points. There is a subtle difference, but it's very minor. I just think the difference on your custom is a little more blatant. I do admire your desire for accuracy. We share that quality.

Tell me about it. It slows down my production.
