I just discovered this thread!
I have more non-DBZ figuarts than DBZ figuarts, hard enough to collect one series, but to do more than one? Masochistic, lol.
So far for non-DBZ I've got Sailor Mercury, Lucario, Knightblazer, and Mario.
Been meaning to get more Sailor Scouts, but since they can be rereleased, I'm giving them lower priority (or is that just the Inner Senshi!?)
Lucario is pretty cool, but none of the other Pokémon ones really caught my eye. Would love some Eeveelutions, if possible!
Knightblazer is freaking amazing, and possibly D-Arts but whatevs. This is what got me started in collecting D-Arts / Figuarts!
Mario is simple but I like it, so far the Mario line...needs more characters. The playsets are cool though. I'd LOVE a Peach SH Figuarts!
Also, Master Asia. MUST GET. He was an old prototype, along with Raine and Allenby, I really hope they get released some day too!
Oh, and I've been meaning to get some of the Mega Man figures, but unfortunately, there prices have gone up recently...nooo...

I'm a huge Pokemon fan, been playing since Red and Blue, crazy how it's exploded into what it is now and still going strong! Agree on the Peach figure and I would love to see Bowser too, I feel both of these figures are inevitable, just gotta give it time. Raine and Allenby looked amazing the way they were, sad to see they got canned although there's the possibility of the resurgence of the line with their new Robot Spirits doing well (which I don't collect, too small scale). Domon was shown in his street clothes so they may do the same for Rain and Allenby. Until then, the Megahouse statues will have to do  If you plan on collecting all the Sailor Scouts, I'd definitely grab the Outer Senshi first, if you haven't already, given they're exclusives. The Inner Senshi are still pretty cheap and get re-released so they're always available. |

Meanwhile, I found an AMAZING deal on Saturn (50% off!) so...I may have to buy the figure before I ever even see her. I hadn't even thought about the Yoshi's. Tamashii LOVES repaints and what's easier than spamming multi colored Yoshi's. Literally just changing the paint at the factories, no new molds or retools required. I know I'd buy em all! Donkey Kong stuff would be AMAZING but that would probably be a separate line unless they wanna just bundle Mario and DK as part of a general Nintendo line. So much amazing Nintendo possibilities if that's the case. A Shiny Charizard would make me cry or better yet a Charizard X or Charizard Y  As far the Scouts go, I researched the line when I started out and scooped up the Outers first even though I hadn't even gotten to that point in the anime. If I know I'm gonna be with an anime for the long haul and there's nice figures out there, I get the rarest ones first even though I have no connection with them. I simply don't open em until I get to the point where I'm familiar enough with the character so it's not like displaying a stranger in my collection. Strange, I know lol. With that said, go for it! The Inner Senshi will always be available but Pluto, Uranus, and now Pluto, won't so you're best bet to tackling the line is to start with the exclusives first and work your way down to the standards. According to myfigurecollection, Saturn and Chibi Moon are standard releases like the rest of the scouts. Same goes for Tuxedo Mask. If you really want to make the display pop, I'd suggest getting the Saint Myth Cloth 10th Anniversary DX Display Stage Set. It's practically made for the Sailor Moon series with pillars and holes everywhere to stick Stage Act 4's in. It's only around $50 too and you get a lot for the price. I think the Sailor Moon line is one of the best Tamashii's ever done, almost perfect in every way (scale, character selection, price point, accessories, etc.) I only started watching Sailor Moon cuz I wanted to get the figures  but I've grown to actually enjoy the show for it's silliness and vibrant characters. |

Normally I hesitate to get multiples of the same character (even to go as far as Vegito counting as Goku and Vegeta), so I kinda wish I held off on Mario to get Fire Mario...But Yoshis, that's different! There are several Yoshis and they even interact with each other! Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are web exclusives then!? Well, Uranus and Neptune were some of those "instant favorite" characters, so I don't mind getting them next. I just wish Neptune didn't sit above $40 forever. (obviously will get much worse later) Pluto didn't come out yet, so I don't have to worry yet...I don't know if I wanna buy two $40+ figures at the same time though, but with those two...how could I not? And missing one would be terrible... Speaking of exclusives/standards, I almost bought SS2 tween Gohan, but when I found out he was a standard release, I...decided to give him the shaft...it's sad though. Ooh, I've seen that display stage before I think. On the fan-made Sailor Moon Figuarts Facebook page, some awesome set-ups there with all the Sailor Scouts! But don't all the Sailor Scouts come with unique display stands? Mercury does and it's great. |

I missed out on everything, and I don't even know why. I guess I really wasn't paying attention.  I'm very unfamiliar with other Figuarts lines besides DBZ and Naruto... Will I be able to pick the Avengers line up for retail when they are in stock like DBZ figures or are these very limited? |

I missed out on everything, and I don't even know why. I guess I really wasn't paying attention. I'm very unfamiliar with other Figuarts lines besides DBZ and Naruto... Will I be able to pick the Avengers line up for retail when they are in stock like DBZ figures or are these very limited? The Avengers are retail releases, so no need to worry about the web exclusive rule. |
