Is it even possible to get him into this pose? I have that same kind of stand and it won't even clamp onto his hips at all. I really like this pose, I want to display him like this but just seems impossible...   |

That is exactly how I wanted to pose my Piccolo but just gave up after awhile. Nice to see it can be done  |

It sure is. You'll need to tighten all the little screws in the joins to prevent it from buckling under the weight. You can also slightly stagger the joints for added strength.
