Hey there everyone! I can't believe it's taken me this long to find my way here, I apologize for that, Bran let me know about this site when it first went up, and I was supposed to have done some social media goodness, but, FAIL. My bad : ( I had just started Graduate School at the time, and life had been a bit nuts since then - for once it's been the good kind of nuts though ; ) Anyway, it's a pleasure to be here, Bran, (And whoever else has also been working on this site along with him.) have done an amazing job with this place, I'm so happy that there seem to be really quite a number of people here all keeping Dragonball Toy collecting alive, and the place just looks GREAT! Really quite fabulous!
For those of you who may not know me, my name is Amanda, though I typically go by the name of Oldphan various places, and I've been around the Dragonball Toy part of the internet for a loooooong looooooong time, lol. I was at one point the Senior Editor of the old DragonballToy.com website, had my own site at one point called SuperSaiyanToys.com, and I've also been making Dragonball Toy figure review/performance/etc. type videos on Youtube, one and off, for the past 5 or so years. I no longer collect Dragonball Toys as I can't afford it really and have also kind of moved from that type of obsessive all consuming item gathering, but one passion that has never left me in regards to these toys has been the desire to construct a website that would serve as the largest and most comprehensive source of information on this topic as can possibly be constructed - I've tried to accomplish this goal twice before with DBT and SST, but both times it failed for a huge host of reasons.... But now I am happy to finally announce that I have indeed learned how to build proper library, museum style archive sites, and just today have officially opened my new Dragonball Toy Archive site - ZFiguresNexus.com. There's not a ton of stuff there yet, but am absolutely massive amount of stuff is on the way soon - it would make me extreamlly happy if you guys checked it out ; ):

The site has a LOOOOOOONG way to go, will probably be working on it for years really, but I'm just happy that it's truly happening for real this time - been dying to build this now for something like 10 long years...
Also put up a video about all this just a few hours ago, and also gave a shout out to this forum - I hope that it will bring in lots of people, though I don't know how much power my channel has to do that kind of thing anymore since it's been inactive so long:
I do want to make it clear, this forum has an amazing figure guide, and a ton of work has gone into making that - I in NO way want or mean for my site to step on the toe of any of that or any other effort to archive this information, in fact it's my firm belief that the best way to preserve information is to create redundancy quite frankly, so the more Dragonball archives the merrier is the way I think of it.
As the site grows there will be ways installed into the site that will allow users to add content of their own and make all kinds of contributions to the building of the site - that's a little ways away from being implemented, but I'm working on it. If there is anyone is who might be interested in helping right away though, I would love it if someone could check that I've placed the correct companies in the correct countries? Also can you see any companies that I have missed? I admit, I have been out of the loop a long time, a lot has happened in my absence that I'm sure I have not yet heard about.
Anyway, biggest thing I wanted to say is simply that I'm happy to be here on Dragonballfigures - I look forward to meeting all you newer guys, I'm not sure who else but Bran is here from the old days, but I'm quite excited to see who pops up that I might remember from way back when! *Waves to the old timers ; )*
Is KK still around at all?
Thanks everyone!
All the best,
Amanda/Oldphan
