I customized another figure tonight. It was on my to-do list, so I got it out of the way. I combined the Chozoshu, Reurrection F Gohan with the head from the WCF, SS Gohan in his Kai garb. Their heads are pretty much the same size. I thought it would be a good opportunity to make this figure a bit less dorky. It was quick and easy. The WCF head just needs a wider, deeper socket for the neck, and to slice off the Portora earrings. I recommend giving it a try!

You're in the wrong hobby. And they aren't manufactured for "pennies." I am exaggerating slightly, but they manufacture these things for much, much less than what they sell them for. Also, I'm not in the "wrong hobby" just because I'm not willing to pay massive overcharges. Ever bought a coffee in your life? Or a beer? Maybe you've purchased a bag of chips for three or four bucks.... something which LITERALLY costs pennies to make. Are those overcharges too much for you? Cost is relative, and worth is subjective. Saying you don't want to be "overcharged" is naive. I could say that I don't think a pair of pants made in a foreign country are worth $80, when the unfortunate people making them earn a few dollars a week, and the cost to produce them is even less. But hey....I want the pants, and unless I go to the thrift store or snatch the pants off someone sitting in a bathroom stall, I ain't getting those particular pants. So either you want the Trunks enough to pay the asking price, or you don't want it that badly, and would rather split that money between buying a cheaper, but still overpriced Trunks figure, and then using your leftover money to buy an overpriced sandwich at the local gas station. IDGAF. But unless you either swindle an online seller, buy a knock-off, or just get so damn lucky you have horse-shoes propping your fanny up off your comfy little sitting place, you're gonna have to bust out what it's "worth"....which is to say, what it's worth to actual collectors, who actually collect crap.

I thought there was a regular ssj Vegetto too, but i can't find pictures of it. I believe I made a mistake on the pairing. Super Saiyan Blue Vegito is with Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black and Super Saiyan Vegito is with Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Good to hear. I don't want either of those two (Regular SS Vegito and Goku Blue). I'm glad they're being paired, so I can bypass them both.

I'm just gonna come out and say it....they need to stop putting so much effort into these tiny, chibi figures. These characters and poses desperately need to be rendered in taller, proportionate figures. I'm a MASSIVE Dragon Ball collector, and I avoid these like the plague.

I made an account here just so I could share this. I always wanted a proper Super Saiyan Bardock figure, but they haven't exactly made one yet. So I snagged a Banpresto HQDX Bardock, and a Clear-Version SS Goku and made my own. I'm not new to customs, but I do it so very rarely that I'm not 100% confident in my skills. I don't use professional tools, nor do I have a proper workspace. I did this with simple acrylics, a pocket knife and glue, on my computer desk. lol I gave him a gold tail, which I personally saw as an oversight in Episode of Bardock. I also added a custom paint job to his green plating, to make it a bit shinier. I wanted to differentiate this piece from my regular Bardock HQDX figure. I plan to add more to this figure...possibly a nicer base, or maybe even the Tamashii Effect lightning. Not sure how many people have attempted this...it's really quite simple. I don't want to come off like I know what I'm doing when there are so many people on this site who make such nice customs. I just wanted to share my own personal favorite creation that I made.
