Lol. I dont get where you got the whole you have no confidence in your work from. I've been customizing for a while. My work is usually highly complimented, my first diorama was a great success and that is said by people on multiple forums and on the youtube video. Yes i said ive never casted before and obviously i would have to experiment with it, and no i would not sell anything that looks crappy etc.if the casting doesn't turn out well enough to meet my expectations then it would continue to be made by hand. The reason i asked if people were interested is not because i doubt my ability to make dioramas but because i want to know what fellow collectors want. Hence why frankie said when he made them they didn't sell well. That all being said i was doing this for anyone who was interested in them, after all the positive comments ive received. There is plenty of easier ways to make money and not getting my hands dirty, like buying and re selling these figures. Thanks for your opinion im always open to critiques and reasonings on why you wouldnt want it.

Those dioramas are awesome! I would love to have one but the price kind of kills it for me (although its very reasonable considering the time and craftsmanship involved). Yea the main thing is time and material. WE will see though if i see a few more likes i might do a 10 piece run or something, but for now here is a sneak peek at my finished diorama, i will be showing everything when my next one is done.

Looking good! I'm not sure if you're familiar with Liquitex Gloss Gel but you can do some really cool things with it to make water. I've been experimenting with it and it's really neat. im trying out the realistic water from woodland scenics. ill look into the gel thanks.

I would be all over these. Will be keeping a close eye on your progress. And If you're open to commissions, would you be interested into making more larger, dynamic scenes for the right price (perhaps $100 and up)? the issue wirh larger pieces would be shipping it. I would worry on damage if i send it put together. Also they take a while so price would depend on how large. My first one which can be seen on youtube was a while a go and will be updated. I am currently working on 2 more as i like my figuarts on a diorama. One day you guys will see. But for now here is a wip of the new piece.

Correct pink foam is what is used for 95 percent of dioramas you see at tamashii nations etc. They will all be hand made. If there is enough interest then i would have an original and use it as a mold . what material i would use? i have no clue since ive never done it before. That wont be the case for a while though. Also dont worry about them this is the site to be in lol. They blew that out of proportion! It only got worse when we took it to PMs. A lot worse. If you wanted to make a mold of one, you could use something like alumilite mold rubber to make the mold, and alumilite resin to cast it. I went that route because it offered a lot of advantages. Consistency, durability, and allowed for built in features that require sturdy firm material like stand compatibility. The downside is that molding and casting can get pricey. $20 a pound for mold rubber and some of those molds I was making were 6-8 pounds. There's also a lot of prep and nuance to the whole process that is really important, otherwise you get defects. Yea if it gets to the point of casting, it would be a learning experience and i would have to see if its even worth doing because of the cost.

Hey, sorry for all the crap I caused with this on Sideshow, I'm done over there. So you aren't intending to produce yours out of molds, but rather with a foam base? Correct pink foam is what is used for 95 percent of dioramas you see at tamashii nations etc. They will all be hand made. If there is enough interest then i would have an original and use it as a mold . what material i would use? i have no clue since ive never done it before. That wont be the case for a while though. for starters i will definitely have a namek piece and cell piece. Cool! Another idea which should be relatively simple and probably seemingly a bit dull would be the floor of the hyperbolic time chamber, while the simplest route would be to just go plain white, I think it would look pretty cool if you could get just the right shade, almost give a kinda pearlescent white look to it. thats a very very good idea!

Good to see you stepping out! I used to be the same, but I just don't care anymore, lol. If you get any social media, get Instagram! I never liked social media, but I'm hooked to it. And I have Facebook and Twitter, but I don't use them too much. Twitter is really funny if you find the right accounts! Thanks! I was actually going to take my picture down, but then Reaper quoted me! Lousy Reaper, always one step ahead of me! I'm just kidding; he's a super dude! if you put in that much work on your body you should be showing it every second i know i would lmaoo

Most definitely keen on something like this. Over 9000 crater for sure, definitely a cell ring, even that road piece looks cool and might even persuade me to set that scene up even though I hadn't planned to. Something cool for a Frieza v Awakened Goku would also be a hot seller I'm sure. for starters i will definitely have a namek piece and cell piece.

I guess the first question would be how much would it cost. Say for example if you were commissioned for a production quantity of 10? It would range any where from 35-55 depending on how large. something large like this would be closer to 50. If the demand grows and i begin to re cast it would be closer to 40. Also fixed the above link so you can see the saibamen

didnt know they had a figure of him dead lol does it scale with figuartS? Releases in September, and nah, it's much bigger than figuarts.....but for a diorama it would look great behind shf vegeta and nappa (if they every get around to making him!!) We also need some scale Saibamen!! Something like this would be amazing! [img src=" these are in scale, and yea i can make those type of craters. lol if i see enough interest i will make a second pole for designs types and do them in the order of the poll.
