So are some of you all just straight up looking to get some extra Brolys to scalp later on? Not necessarily to scalp, but to collect. For example, in my games collection, I have both a standard copy and the NIS Online shop collectors edition of The Witch and the Hundred Knight. I played the standard, and kept the collectors edition misb. Whereas for Tales of Symphonia HD, I bought two collectors editions because I wanted to open the collectibles that came with (the soundtrack especially) so I bought one to keep sealed in my collection, one to open and enjoy. I don't play the "buy 10, sell a year a down the road" game, I just collect. I don't even do it for every game, and sometimes it does make me feel stupid. Bravely Default's CE now runs for like $200 after retailing for $50 less than a year ago. But you know what? I wouldn't sell my used one or a new one regardless, because I want them in my personal collection.
For the figuarts line sure, knowing the exclusives have the potential to skyrocket in after market value influences my decision to own multiples, but its not my sole intention. I do enjoy having a backup figure in case something happens and I can't replace it.

You know, if they ever did release a Majin Vegeta, the SDCC Exclusive repaint of him could be his statue form... Bandai, hire this man! (even though he wasn't actually a statue, his ashes just retained his shape and features for a few minutes before falling)

TheToySource (Toyark's official/affiliated shop thing) still has the pre-orders up for $67.99. I ordered a second one from them just in case he really has sold out, that way I don't feel stupid for opening my first one. But be warned that they fill pre-orders in the order they were received, so it's possible that they don't get enough to fulfill last minute pre-orders.
Also, if he has sold out it excites me that there's even a chance that we'll see Nappa and Shenron as they both would cost around $70+ due to being freaking massive

Oddly enough, they just reissued Sailor Mars, who I'm pretty sure was a web exclusive, so I won't give up hope! Yeah, they're just jerking us all off with the exclusivity thing at this point. I'm willing to bet that they won't re-issue the hard to find DBZ releases just because it's one of the more popular lines, not because they were supposed to be Tamashii Nation exclusive. Also, I LOVE that everyone is getting into the holiday spirit with their avatars!

Well all figures are "exclusives" except the original 3. Goku, Piccolo and Gohan. "Exclusive" in this case meaning they're willing to distribute them to all kinds of vendors, but heavens forbid you want more of them

Yeah, they billed me too. As a test to see if they actually do charge bank cards even if you don't actually have the funds, I transferred just enough so it would overdraw $1 (my total was $77.47, so I set my checking account to have $76.47) and my Credit Union actually declined the transaction all together. Now my BBTS account says the order is pending, and I have 9 days to pay the full $77.47 or the order is cancelled. That's actually great, because now I can wait until tomorrow to pay it, since I have to buy someone a christmas gift tonight and payday is tomorrow. this just saved me a lot of trouble. I didn't have money in my credit card to pay for my order on Mhtoyshop. I had no clue how I was gonna act until your comment helped me. I made my order through BBTS and I'll wait a couple of days until I get paid and pay for my order before the 10 days are up. Thank you for this brilliant comment! No problem! I can also verify that they'll do the same for non pre-order items if you opt to use the "Pile of Loot" function. If you don't have the funds, they put it in your loot pile and give you the same 9 days to pay it, then you can choose to ship it whenever you want after you've paid (within 180 days, at which point they ship it to you automatically). I tested this by cancelling my pre-ordered Broly's all together, then re-ordered him as a standard order with the "Pile of Loot" system On. It's really helpful for me too, I wouldn't have had the money for the gift I was buying someone had the payment gone through.

You don't have to pay for pre-orders in advance; only when the item arrives. I was billed for Broly about an hour or so ago. Yeah, they billed me too. As a test to see if they actually do charge bank cards even if you don't actually have the funds, I transferred just enough so it would overdraw $1 (my total was $77.47, so I set my checking account to have $76.47) and my Credit Union actually declined the transaction all together. BBTS charges when your item is being processed for shipment from their warehouse. So if they get Broly in their warehouses today the 17th and they have a 1-2 day processing step, you would be charged as early as tonight, tomorrow on the 18th, or as late as the 19th and it would most likely leave the warehouse on the 19th. And yes, they charge for all of them at once if you have multiples of the same item come in at the same time since they should also be ready to ship at the same time. So if money is an issue make sure you file a credit card that you can pay off later instead of a bank card, because they do not offer full refunds if you overdraw your bank account. Even if you cancel the shipment altogether before it leaves their warehouse you only get store credit applied to you account for the amount plus shipping.
Sounds a little skeevy, but they are actually pretty good about their customer support. They just don't have a hotline so you have to email them which can be a pain in the ass.

Am I the only person that actually prefers to pay up front?

I'm actually hoping BBTS doesn't ship him until after Christmas, but I might buy a second one when Amazon gets them. I like that he has multiple Eraser Cannon effects, but I would've swapped the third one for either aura effects or a much larger blast effect.

Oooooo, MhToyshop lets you pay now, has free shipping, is reputable, AND has the lowest pre-order prices right now. Sorry BBTS! Move over!

Ah thanks, I preordered the act 4 stands too. Snagged two ACT 4's as well. I thought about getting two of each of the upcoming DBZ figures too, but it would've totaled to like $410 before shipping and I don't have any where to keep spare figures. Plus their shipping is kinda expensive for only one item at a time, so im using them as placeholder pre-orders until i find better deals elsewhere.

The Androids display, with a case for 19, does not actually indicate that there will be a 19 Figuart, because it is fan made.

That picture makes the colors on Manga Piccolo look a lot better. They're always too light and washed out in the promo shots.
