Man I'm not trying to hop on the "hate sonkakarot" band wagon or anything, but the tone of a lot of your posts is very negative, and the way you word some things makes it sound very harsh. Expressing your opinion is totally fine, but you should show a little bit of respect to the other collectors on this site, at least when it comes to other people's customs. Although you may not particularly like something, it's not necessary to say things that could easily be interpreted as disrespectful and intentionally hurtful. We are all here for the same reason, and we need to show each other common courtesy and respect. Also, you shouldn't pull something like this Z, in Australia we shoot little bunnies like Thumper there just for fun. But I suppose that's not really unsettling, seeing as you guys have a tendency to shoot people for kicks. I agree that Australia has superior gun control, which prevents people from being shot, but that has nothing to do with what we are talking about. That's an intentionally negative, irrelevant comment directed at Z because he is an American, and because SOME Americans are irresponsible gun owners or bat crap crazy. Come on man, there's no need for that crap. Just wanna state again, I personally don't have a problem with you, just a problem with some of the things you say.

With the screen issue, it looks like they go for about $20. I guess it's a somewhat common issue with Game Gears, but I think I could fix it. Let me do a bit of research to figure out what all I can do with it, and I'll decide if I wanna buy it.

Haha thanks! That one there is a GameBoy adapter for the Super Nintendo that's been modified to have full MIDI capabilities, that's what all the lights, button and the two cables on the side are for. It also has improved quality sound jacks. You can hook up electronic instruments and music programs to it and play MIDI songs through it using the Gameboy's sound chip.
Yeah there's some things I could do with a Game Gear, could probably repair the screen and speaker at least. You looking to sell it?

Ah, I see. The neck on my re-release SS Goku doesn't move near as easily/much as the others, Piccolo's is also a little difficult to move and limited.

Here, you can post any interesting DB/Z/GT custom items you find on the internet. Not figures, but accessories and other custom merchandise. Hey everyone, I've heard some of you express interest for a SDCC Scouter modified to work as a gaming headset. I'm highly considering making some if there is enough demand. If those interested are looking for a specific headset to be used inside the scouter, let me know I can look it over and figure out if it's possible. The Xbox 360 headset I use is the basic one that comes with the system, and I'm certain that one would be a good fit for the scouters, but I could also install wireless and/or bluetooth headsets. For the last 2 and a half years I have been modifying GameBoys and other vintage video game consoles for the purpose of composing music. I'm very skilled with a soldering iron and dremel, as well as building custom circuits. I have all of the necessary tools readily available for modding a scouter, the only things I need are the actual scouters and headsets. Some of my past work can be viewed here, uncommonelectronics.com/?page_id=71If anyone is interested, please let me know as soon as possible. The 3 packs of scouters are still available for a decent price, so the sooner I know, the cheaper I can get the scouters. Feel free to ask any questions! If I can find a single scouter for cheap enough, I'll make a prototype and post it here.

Huh didn't think about it like that, anybody looking to buy that actually knows about the line would probably be willing to pay a little more for that, I know I would've if I had the chance.

I'm gonna try that, do you think that'll hurt the resale value?

What do you mean by that? Like is the neck piece just sitting in there really loose, or does it just not move?
Also, how can I fix Vegeta's leg issue? It's really bothering me that I can't pose Vegeta's legs at all. I heard something about putting nail polish remover on the ball joints or something, does that work? What about isopropyl alcohol?

No it hasn't happened to me, but the fear that it will happen has kept me from posing Piccolo as much as the other figures. I'm the same way with Trunks' bangs, but those don't look quite as fragile. Since Piccolo is one of the heavier figures, I'm worried that the Tamashii stands will give out and he'll face plant into the ground, that's happened to me a couple of times with SS Goku and scared the crap out of me.

Jealous of you guys that got 2 Piccolos, but I'm happy that those of you who missed out on BBTS got a second chance with Bluefin. Out of the 5 Figuarts that I own, Piccolo is probably my favorite. I love the sculpt and paint job, he looks really great displayed. The only thing I worry about with Piccolo is him falling over and his antennas breaking off. Has anyone had that problem yet?
