ssgoshin4 I only saw parts of the video and I couldn't really see the peg in the hair but I get the feeling the plastic wasn't molded properly where the peg is held by the hair. Are you able to pop the hair piece in or do you have to slide it in?

Thanks Guys I'm going to try all of those and see which one works best for me. Like Nike said I'm done with photobucket that big steaming pile hasn't worked worth a damn on my phone either for awhile. Everytime an add pops up on the app on my phone and I try to x it out it closes the whole app and I repeat the cycle until I can beat the pop up to whatever pic I'm trying to upload or what not it makes me so mad Man that goku looks a whole lot better with those forarms did Tim make that one? Nope, lanternjv37 is responsible for that one. I did give him a pair of forearms that matched the rest of the outfit, however.

Dude, I see custom work that looks terrible ALL the time...and I get the urge to lash out at people for making something so awful and calling it "work" and releasing it online...but I don't. It's too douchey. You do it behind the scenes? Cool, no big deal, but directly on a person's thread where they can see it? Seems uncalled for, especially since FDF's beams look good. Holding back on irrational anger isn't being a fairy, it's being decent.
(to be fair...yes, this particular incident seems to be blown a little out of proportion)

Nice, cool to see you back. Nothing crazy happened, everyone simply moved over once Cap and Bran set this place up.

Is anybody able to take some pictures of this guy next to an SDCC Goku? I'd very much like to see how his peachy complexion compares to the exclusive repaint. Better yet, if someone can take a picture of the SS3 Goku's head mounted on an SDCC Goku's body that'd be super! The pic was taken by TheDevilsCorpse but here you go.

If I can make one minor complaint...I'd say the bangs on the side are a little off...but other than that this is great top-notch work.

It shouldn't, it's not like anyone can see the socket at all times. If it works I'd say the value should increase just a bit.

Not sure. I have one waiting to be repainted but I'm thinking about having someone else paint it. You can make it work by taking out the neck on the SS Goku figure to heat it up and then remove the ball disk peg that holds the head...then remove the neck piece from the SS3 Goku head (I don't think you can remove the peg from the head)...reheat the SS Goku neck piece and slide it around the SS3 Goku neck peg. It's not a perfect fit but it works.

Your pic shows a SS3 head on the first SS Goku release...the pic I found shows an anime accurate repaint (still strange colors but it is accurate)...and the final release was a figure that didn't deserve to be released. A big mess of slightly shaded colored plastic. It's still a good figure based on the sculpt/articulation alone but now I think it's the worst in the line.

It's been said a few times that putting some clear nail polish or Pledge Future Shine should help hold the ball joint inside the thigh socket. A few people that have tried it have claimed it works great...I want to try it but I always forget to pick up Pledge and nail polish. They say you need to put whatever material you use into the socket and then immediately place the ball into the socket and move it around so nothing locks but I think it's much safer to apply a layer of polish/pledge, let it dry, and either make a second layer or put the ball back in.

Look at this post again... The prototype is fully painted...the actual figure has minimal paint and colored plastic. The gi has a bit of orange shading and obviously the blue parts/boots had to be painted but everything else is colored plastic, including the head parts but the skin is painted on those. What sucks is you can see a good peach skin tone right where the hair starts but the heavy orange shading throws everything off.
