Those pics are both promo pics and don't really show the proper details for either of the retail versions. The red sash Piccolo looks matte in that pic as it's the prototype figure and honestly the only parts that look glossy on the retail version are the clothes, the rest is fine. The SDCC Piccolo is nearly perfect and I say nearly because the green seems a bit too dark. They're both identical aside from the colors.
oh, and one other thing for either branjita or capsulexnike...Krillin is still marked as an upcoming release in this thread.
my mistake...it seems I can finally put my mod powers to good use, I'll make the edit myself.

pretty much all I was hoping for so no complaints from me. I'd like to see an Arlian Vegeta just because I know it will be well done but I really hope that isn't the version coming out. He said it may have new tooling and really all you'd need for a Majin Vegeta would be a new torso... it will be very interesting to see if that is the SDCC exclusive. I also hope we don't see a Mystic Gohan in the end...a new Gohan head on a Goku body with no super saiyan head...how boring.

If nothing else it's nice to have that kind of confirmation on Nappa. I do hope it at least comes out later on even if it's highly unlikely. I'd really like to know what's coming in the future, to me Kid Buu was an obvious choice but what's coming after that?

Hm...I want to like the Goku and Vegeta but minor flaws really stand out on Figuarts figures...but that SS4 Goku...awesome.

Aside from Piccolo I don't see why these are gross...in fact Goku's outfit looks much better than the outfit on the actual SBC Goku IMO. Remove the gold hair and glue some black hair on it and it'd be a figure worth having.

I still can't believe a King Vegeta just like that sold for over $160 a few years ago.
forgot to comment on this when it was first posted...boy...that SS4 Goku is a let down.

The difficulty all depends on the sculpt really. I'd be willing to help with this if you actually pursue the project.

Geez. I forgot that they were bouncing faster than the bullet. And that it goes through them twice. Aaaand this is why I don't care for HSOTD. I still liked it regardless but I'd definitely like to find an zombie anime that's a bit more serious.

Very cool...strange that it's coming out so soon after the Goku but it's not like that's a bad thing.

Articulation junkie/customizer. One of the thrills for me is posing. Getting something loaded with POAs and finding out just how many poses you can get it into is great. That ties into my love of photography (but in all honesty that's near the bottom of the list of my passions), I like taking what are essentially hunks of plastic and making nice images with them. There's also the appreciation for precise paint apps and a sharp masterful sculpt. When it comes to customizing it's nice getting the exact part you need and finishing a modification. I take an equal amount of satisfaction from major projects and simple head/part swaps. Above all else I think the best part of collecting is the catch...finding a good deal/beating out other bidders, making a purchase, facing the inevitable anticipation and finally taking your prize out of the mail and getting it in your collection. I'm back to being bored within five minutes but the initial catch never gets old. I also like removing eBay searches...which may never be fully satisfying as I still have searches saved from 2011.
