VegekuThank you very much Vegeku. I notice the American retailers still did not update the product with the right information (BBTS / Entertainment Earth). I checked Tokyo Otaku Mode and they have the right information. Very excited for this figure and $30 is a steal.

Guys, the Resolution of Soldiers Grandista (Goku) is available for preorder at Bigbadtoystore for $29.99.
Vegeku are you sure that the figure is 28cm? It says 17cm on here, but not sure if it is a misprint.
Hope the final product looks as great as the prototype because the other ones look kind of plasticky.

Dang I already own the Medicos Goku, and the new SMSP is a bit too similar to that piece. The base is really cool though, and I like the fact that they went more towards an action pose. I agree about this line needing new characters.
By the way, that Tsume Bardock looks terrible. Looks like a bootleg or something. Hope their future Dragonball figures don't look like that. The Vegeta by them is a huge step foreward.
Why can't Medicos get back in the Dragonball game? I feel like they would do Vegeta justice along with other characters.

Anyone aware of any bootlegs of these yet? Trying to be careful buying these on eBay. Compare this photo to the one in the front page. This one is fake because the base isn't flat and is thicker / higher. Unfortunately this seller sold his Vegeta to a sorry unaware person, so I cannot show you the picture of him. I recognized it was bootleg because I own the authentic ROS Vegeta and the base was different. Also the quality looks a lot worse.
That Tsume is being hailed by many as being perfect, which is a travesty. While it is nice, the face and hair is stylized and looks a little off. Lol and the clothing texture is just not in DBZ style. And it's Uber expensive!!
Yea the thing is pricey. What I like about it is that it is huge, the clothing looks extra detailed like silicon, and it has sound effects from the anime. The light effects look cool too.
It looks like it can break easily if not careful, unlike the SMSP and MSP line.

Tsume's stuff is nice, but $700 for a 1/4 statue is out of my price range. And Tsume garnered a license from Toei a couple years ago, but they weren't always licensed. I must say, out of all their pieces, the Piccolo and Gohan is amazing. Too bad that one sold out too. And MSP had some "slightly" different poses, but they were the same general generic standing poses. I don't mind standing poses. These poses might seem boring, but the detail no the sculpt for SMSP is phenomenal. I'd rather have detail than a cool pose (but both is even better) because it showcases the artist's skill with texturing and detail. Yeah my bad, totally forgot about the MSP Super Characters and Gotenks who had their hands to their sides. Yes I agree, the standing poses aren't bad and I am fine with it. It's just that, since the SMSP Goku was based off that iconic picture, I thought the line would continue that trend of basing it off iconic moments. The Tsume price seems ideal at maybe $500 instead right? But since it was limited, it sold out quick. You can probably get double what you paid if you end up not liking it.
I think it's just a generic pose.
I have a feeling that every figure in this SMSP line is going to have that basic stance with their hands by their sides. The MSP line had two fists in front of them type stance except for Vegito I think. It would be cool if they chose an iconic scene like this of Vegeta: This statue by Tsume is just phenomenal. It is actually an official company unlike those Chinese resins. Too bad it is sold out.

jet.com had 20% off coupon today, but it expired too.
They have 15% off with code "welcome15" for new customers.

What scene are they depicting for this Vegeta?
Was the body pose of Vegeta only made like this to pair with Goku?
Just by looking at the SMSP Goku, you know exactly what that bad ass scene is from.
This Vegeta is still very cool, but could've been better.
For the first time ever, I might end up getting the brush instead of two dimensions.

Oh okay thanks. So its just the box that is different right? Do you think Gamestop will have it too one day since its the international release? I believe so. The only real difference I believe might be a sticker or something saying "Gamestop Exclusive" or something. For the Goku one going through Gamestop, the figure itself is "The Brush" (to my knowledge), which would make sense because it would be the international version. To be perfectly honest, the Gamestop Goku is the one I've been (patiently) waiting on just because I don't have to worry about shipping. I'm pissed that they pushed the date back 3 times, and it's getting uncomfortably close to Christmas. However, on Bandai America's website, they also list Barnes and Nobel as well as Hot Topic as distributors of this same figure, so it won't only be available through Gamestop. Oh nice, maybe I should wait until a US retailer has it. Yes, I noticed Gamestop switching the date for the Goku figure from mid November to like mid December. That would piss me off too. Maybe you should order the Xenoverse Collectors Edition from Amazon and sell the game and steelbook instead. Last time I checked, I think they had a used version of the Collectors Edition for like $113 through their warehouse deals. I think they sell new items, but only the box is damaged. Not 100% sure. Personally I like the Collector's Edition Goku better.

Hi, is Dendenhobby a legit store in Japan? Do they sell the four different variations or just one? I am most likely going to end up buying him too. The videos of him look much better than the pictures. But I still like the MSP version more. It's a Hong Kong seller. They're usually a bit pricey on their Crane Games items, but the SMSP Vegeta has a very good price on him. I've ordered from them before, so I can vouche. It's a legit seller. It's only the Brush Variant. I assume that The Brush version is getting the international release, the same as the Brush Goku; because only Hong Kong and Taiwan sellers are listing SMSP Vegeta now. Brush Goku was released internationally in a window box and marketed as "The Animation Version" outside Japan. I think it's safe to assume that they'll be doing the same with Vegeta. Oh okay thanks. So its just the box that is different right? Do you think Gamestop will have it too one day since its the international release?

Hi, did anyone do their dragonball figures shopping during this Black Friday and upcoming Cyber Monday?
Please list the store and deal you got or will get.
1. Barnes and Noble had 30% off and another 25% off collectibles. So I bought Figuarts Zero Goku for less than $20.
2. Jet.com had 30% off so I bought Figuarts Zero EX Vegeta for $52.
I also have a coupon code for 50% off for limited amount of figures at a US retailer. If you want it, feel free to PM me. I think it expires today. The reason for PM is that I only want to help people who really want it and not trying to resell.
(For example X-Plus Majin Buu is $42)
