Hi guys, I stopped collecting after the normal Master stars piece line dried up, now I've got back into it and I'm a little behind. I've been trying to get the Manga dimensions figures & the Super Master Stars Goku & Vegeta variants & I've ended up with a few fakes. I found most of the Manga dimensions through DenDenHobbyStore, but the super master stars are proving elusive. Anyone able to link me to a site guaranteed to sell authentic ones? (Preferably in the White / Black boxes that are on Youtube unboxings)? I'm trying to get the Brush & Original versions of both Goku & Vegeta. I've found a legitimate Tones Vegeta, but the seller also shipped a fake variant as well. Would anyone else be worried about this? Any advice on how to get these and stay away from the fakes would be appreciated. Dan Hey Dan, hey, can you comment on the flaws of the bootleg Super Master Stars Piece Goku? I know ytour point of reference is limited as you don't have both to compare side-by-side, but if there any obvious flaws and/or imperfections ---what are they exactly? Kind regards, Max

Hey, how well does the ROS Grandista line scale with the Figuarts Zero EX line? Or the MSP 10-11" figures? Edit: NM. From the video reviews that I've seen they seem to be more in scale with the Super MSP Goku Look scale Awesome. Thanks. By anybchance does anyone have a Super Master Stars Piece next to a ROS Grandista to compare scale?

March 2018 I am disappointed that this is yet again another Goku. However, I will get this figure because I have decided I will get every Grandista that comes out. Also, it's baffling how they're doing the same power-up poses as their MSP SSJ Goku...actually... almost all of the characters were done in that pose, which really turned me off from the MSP line, I only got a couple of those... which thankfully scale very well with the Figuarts EX line. But the SSJ ROS Grandista Goku was also done in that pose. And now the normal Goku? Err I might just get the Rose Goku Black that's coming out around May. Also, I'm guessing the MSP line is done?

1. Bulma
2. Kid Trunks & Goten . And a Gotenks, cause why not. (See what I did there? three in one..lol)
3. Imperfect Cell (Form 1 & 2)
4. Master Roshi
5. Kid Buu
Edit: Oh shiit. I didnt see the poll. Scratch that give me Android No 17 and 18 (2.0) ... I missed those releases and never quite brought myself to pay 120+ for each one.

Nice catch. She looks great. Very accurate to the anime likeness. How tall is she without base?

One word: Nostalgia.
This was a highly sought after set back in the early to mid 90's. And they're quite rare, especially if theyre mint and in the original packaging. Having said that, they have not aged well ...LOL

Gotcha, And I agree that the face mold is a bit off on the SHF Gokus, Especially the older SSJ and SSJ3's. The AW is not so bad though.

I really like the SHF Future Trunks, the No.18, and the Krillin. Not only cause they're some of my favorite characters, but the figures are fantastic. They leave very little to be desired in terms of likeness and articulation. And neither is made with the new articulation system which is a plus, I think. I dont really like the way the new joint system looks around the waist/crotch despite its superior articulation range. It takes away from the aesthetics IMO. Next, I'd have to say the Awakening Warrior Gokou and SSJ (2.0) Vegeta for their mold and likeness, despite of them having the ugly joint system.
Hey supernamekian, I have to ask, do you really like the Jakks Goku the most from a technical standpoint? (ie likeness) Or is it more of a nostalgia thing?
Best regards,
Max

I wound up sealing the punctured hole in the right boot, and polishing it, so I just gotta touch it up with some paint now. I also fixed the rim around the boots and made em much more realistic looking. Overall I am really happy with this statue now. Cause A) the leg anatomy is correct now and B) she stands freely without the need of her stand, which was 100% impossible before. She measures just a little over 6" (versus 7.5" out of the box):

How well do these scale with MSP and Figuarts Zero EX? I see that this vol 2 Vegeta is 10 inches (in dbz-store.com) so it should scale well, but the Goku is only 7"? So they're not in scale with each other?

My last batch I got for around $10 at Hobby Lobby and they are two large squeeze bottles of part A and part B. It looks like this and for the price it is fantastic. I don't think it is as strong as the Loctite kind for general repairs around the house, but for everything else it's fantastic. Plus, it's less messy than the tubes. Apparently it can be bought online, but you can buy it in the store with their every-single-day 40% online coupon on their website. Seems like you might be able to use the coupon online as well. www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Model-Kits/Paint-Brushes/5-Minute-Quick-Cure-Epoxy/p/146626The current one is this one: They refresh them every week or so. Great, thanks a lot. I ordered the same one from eBay for $8 shipped though. The HL one ends up being almost $14 with coupon and all, due to the shipping charge. Thanks again

Not for figures, that is for metal repair. Whoops. I was trying to find the plastic epoxy in the double tubes that you recommend in the sticky, but I cant seem to find it. All I see are the Loctite syringe ones and the black plastic welder by Devcon. I see some high-end ones in the hobby-shop web stores specifically made for toys, but they're little expensive, and I know that these other ones will work just as good for a lot less coin. By any chance, do you know where i could fine some tubes at a decent price? All the best, Max
