Ultimate Gohan looks amazing. But I feel like if they do a 2.0, it'll be DBS Gohan from... about Episode 88, I think. When Gohan and Piccolo trained to unlock his Mystic form again.

So, I snagged my Frieza from my local GameStop. No one buys them from there, so Tien and Nappa (and at one point, Trunks) just sat there. Tien and Nappa are next.

So, how hard was it to switch out the belts?

Why would they sell THIS effect exclusively? This can be used for not only base form God Ki (God essence), but for like every non Super Saiyan character as well. I don't understand Bandai anymore... Especially Ultimate Gohan (if anyone still remembers him).

There are only two things I want for this figure: to look good fighting Xeno Trunks, and for the thumbs-up hand from the OG Trunks to be compatible with it.

So, what will the other DB Figuarts be? So far, we have: -Son Goku (Four Star) -Muten Roshi (Three Star) -Bulma (Five Star) I'm thinking these are the potential releases, in no particular order. The ones I starred are most likely: -Piccolo Daimao (Young)* -Kid Krillin* -Lunch -Grandpa Gohan -Pilaf, Shu and Mai (who knows?) -Kami (and Popo, maybe) -Yajirobe (and Korin) -Oozaru Goku Thoughts? I know a number of these are long shots, but they are all mostly integral to original Dragon Ball. You didn't mention Yamcha.

Those idiots are actually going through with an exclusive Vegito Blue? What a disappointment. I have officially given up hope.

Keeping this separate as it's pretty long...I wanted to expand on what I said about interchangeable parts. I think the 2015 Frieza Saga Goku was a great release because of the additional face plate that was added and the fact the skin tone was pretty close to the original 2014 Goku. If it were up to me, I would design further releases to make them closely compatible. This is exactly what I want to see... The 2018 Goku with potentially unrestricted arms, possibly a perfected 2.0 Goku. The follow up, hopefully a regular release and not an exclusive...a Dragon Ball Super variant colored to match Goku's appearance in the anime, but it has the exact same skin tone as the 2018 version and new faces that can also be used on the 2018 version. Technically a new figure but also an expansion pack for the old one. This can also be done with a potential 2.0 SS Goku, but for the second release, they could create a damaged SS2 Goku. Same deal, identical skin tone and faces that work with the SS Goku. Instead of creating new parts to prevent part swapping, they should capitalize and really make something cool. That SSj1 Goku should feature a smiling face and a smirking face. Also a neutral face, off to the side like the OG SSj(2) Gohan.

SDCC usually gets repaints of mass released figures. If they do SHF UI Goku, it’ll get a mass release first Yeah, though I don't see it happening at all this year, the closest I think they'd do to that would be a release of mastered UI Goku followed by un-mastered figure as an event exclusive recolour. Before anyone says 'but that's still too popular' I agree but I'd have said the same about SSB Vegito which it seems we're getting this year :/ Okay, first off... Mastered UI wouldn't quite be the same, if we're going by the standards we've set forth as far as anime accuracy goes (*coughBulmacough*). After all, unmastered UI Goku still had the undershirt, and Mastered UI didn't. It just wouldn't be accurate by in-show standards, which is what most people seem to be adhering to, if this Bulma is any indication. Secondly, which official source do you have to back the claim of Bluegito that you have set forth?

hi guys,I am new, what do you think of goku ultra instinct figure appearing on the north america tour ,is this going to happen and do you think if it will be only event exclusive item / no regular release? i m from europe ,and i dont want to pay 3 times more for that figure on the internet sites... Hi, welcome to the forum! They wouldn't make Ultra Instinct an event exclusive. That would anger the collectors something terrible, and would just be an overall bad move as a business. Many people are going to want the figure, especially outside Japan and the US. So if it's exclusive to a specific event (SDCC, for example) then a lot of people would never be able to get the figure they want for their collection. Plus, it's Goku, so it's likely gonna sell well anyway.

And that would be fine, if he had exhibited any personality beyond "I'm a meathead sidekick." Don't get me wrong, I never disliked him... he served the story purpose he was created to, demolishing the Z-fighters and being a punching bag for Goku. He just... didn't have much longevity beyond that. I'll put it this way: There have been what if scenarios where Raditz has lost his memory and has fought with Goku and the others, or has fought with Bardock. Those what ifs happen because there is untapped potential for stories with the character, because of his familial connections. Nappa just... doesn't. He has no background beyond "I'm a saiyan elite warrior," no connection to anyone except Vegeta (who thinks so little of Nappa that Vegeta murders him), and aside from a few flashbacks, we don't ever see him again. Well, there is one possibility, involving Goku saving Nappa from his death at the hands of Vegeta. Thank Dende for MasakoX and his amazing storytelling skills. But back on topic, the figure looks amazing. Though I can't help but gripe about the manga colors. That's all I'mma say, because a few other people share this gripe with me.

That Trunks looks amazing, but that sleeve looks pretty janky. I don't entirely blame Tamashii, DBS Trunks was designed that way. So part of the blame has to go to the character design for putting the rip there to begin with. Granted, Tamashii could have executed this better. But, as stated prior, it is just a prototype, and can be changed before its announcement.
That's right. It's me again.

His hair isn't angular enough. Xenoverse 2 did a better job at changing up the hair for Black than Tamashii did. That hair just looks like an overglorified SS Goku hair sculpt, colored pink. Why not just base it off of Rosé Goku Black's hair in XV2? I am saddened by this. I will need a few days to regroup. Not only that, but the faces aren't accurately sinister. They just look like Goku dyed his eyebrows, put in some contacts, put on a U10 Potara Earring and went to South City Comic Con as Goku Black. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Aside from the boots, anyone feel like this Goku is supposed to be representative of the new movie coming in December? That could very well be why he has the tied belt instead of the sash. Huh. How did I not think of that sooner? Goku vs. Mysterious New Antagonist. If what you say is true, then this new yellow-eyed guy should be coming out in November or December to coincide with the release of the movie.

Hm. I never thought of that. Dragon Fist custom. Neat. Just kinda wish that the Goku in the shot was the 2.0, not the 1.0. I do like the paint job they used, though.
That's right. It's me again.
