Oh my God, this is stupid. Why is SS2 an exclusive? This essentially means that this will be your only way to attain this figure. They're not rereleasing any of these. Heard some people saying he'll be resold as a general release eventually, but I don't remember seeing a general release UI or Blue Gi Kid Goku (the Japan-exclusive repacks don't count; aren't registered as general on Tamashii's site.) The others are fine, but Goku should not have been a one-time event exclusive. If they're all going up on "Premium" BANDAI, may Kami have mercy on the souls of those who dare order from that hellhole again. Unless the site has been fixed, unlikely as that is, seeing what happened the last two years. Wouldn't trust them if they said "don't worry guys, the site is fixed now! We pinky promise these won't crash and subsequently sell out!" Expect 24 per order and the site to die if that's the case. There's also been a rumor through the grapevine that won't even be happening. Don't know how true it is, but if these aren't on BANDAI's site, then they're probably going to be sold as they used to be, at SDCC. On the plus side, it (in theory) should prevent scalpers, on the downside it means anyone who wants these is going to have to book a flight to San Diego and pay however much it is to attend SDCC for the slim chance of getting any of these figures. TL;DR, SS2 Goku was a terrible idea for an exclusive and I would doubt anyone who says he'll be rereleased anytime soon, the others are fine, and there's a chance you won't have to deal with a site crash this year but will instead have to book a flight to SDCC (unless you live in California.) There were figures that they released as exclusives at first, but than they made them as regular ones. Not the exact same figure of course, but the same character/transformation/look. Namek Goku got and 2.0 version and Kaiohken Goku as well, and Goku Black got a version with less accessories after. That's why I believe they'll be released after a while. After all, bandai wants to cash in with event exclusives first (higher prices), and than they cash in again with regular versions. I mean, they know for sure that Sign Goku, SS2 Goku and SSBKK sell like hot cakes.

I'd love to have SS2 Goku in my collection, but there's no way since he's a event exclusive figure.
That pisses me off. It's the third Goku I won't be able to buy because of that. (Sign and SSBKK were the other ones).
All I have left to do is wait until they decide to make a regular version, like they did with Goku Black.
The other ones were good choices. Good chance for those who didn't get the first release.

People are roasting Tamashii on insta. Several comments are “Terrible release. Still waiting on Android 13, Tapion, Janemba, etc.” while others are saying “this is waaaaay overpriced.” Come on guys, did y’all expect them to price it at $60 USD? Large characters are going to cost you. If you’re waiting for a Great Ape Baby Vegeta or Gold Oozaru but then get mad when it costs $170, well what did you think it was going to cost? Collecting SH Figuarts has ALWAYS been expensive. The OG Shenron was pricey too. This should be common knowledge by now. That’s why I pick & choose which characters to get & which ones to skip. Porunga won’t break my bank account, all I have to do is set aside $40 out of my paycheck every week & it would be paid for when it’s released. Not knocking anyone that are opting out, but the “it’s too expensive” excuse is kinda funny to me because when you add everything up we’ve all already spent thousands of dollars on our collections (not to mention detolfs & display cases, risers, stage act 4 stands, lights, AND dioramas) for all these characters but $180 is just way too much for Porunga. But hey, to each their own. As much as I get your point, I think it's not that simple. They could make him the same way they did with Shenron, which was released as a regular version and the price was 9500 yen. Porunga is a tamashii web release and costs 26000 yen. I mean, the base, Dende, lights and sound effects weren't that necessary imo, and they all raised the price of the figure. Maybe in the US it's easier to get, but tamashii web and bigger figures are way more expensive and they come with much less quantities here in Brazil. It will cost at least 1 and a half to 2 minimun wages by month here.

Porunga is apparently set for December and 24,000 yen. That's really expensive. I'm passing on this guy

The truth is that Gamma 1 and 2 look spot on, but both of them have boring designs, so.. there wasn't much to do there. Throwing some Gohan parts along with them was a smart move to boost the sales, but on the other hand, they are way too expensive for that kind of character. 7000 yen is the price of Imperfect Cell. SS4 Vegeta is 6000 yen. I don't think Gohan parts would compensate that. Btw I just regreted pre-ordering the Ultimate Gohan from the movie
