I may or may not have bought both an MOC Frieza first form and an MOC King Cold/Trunks twopack and opened them both to (responsibly) play with the figures. Your collection is your own. True, it may not have the same price value once opened, but if you'd enjoy it more in your hands than on a shelf, you have to ask 'is money more important than my happiness with my collection?'

I pay far too much for figures I never leave mint... ...Oh well. Two spacelizard overlords down, two canon and one debatable (Kuriza) to go.

Currently 5ft 4". If my family is any indication, I have a shot at being at least 5ft 6" to 5ft 8". Which would be nice. As it stands, I can play Frieza any day. Got the voice and face for it too.

Looking excellent, Mogen! He is ready to hit the shelf with your other Figuarts. You did a nice, even job on the paint, the details are very clean, and that head transition looks flawless. Master Asia really makes a nice match for Gohan's style of dress. Great work!

Man- that group Vegeta shot is wicked! I love the Yardrat Goku too- looking great. The sculpting is smooth, and I especially love the neck ruffle. Even your simple repaints- like Gohan's suit or SSJ4 Vegeta's eyes- are clean and nicely detailed. Awesome! I'm going to go halfway with axelrules and say that the cell shading on SSJ4's pants does look a tad odd...but it wouldn't have to with a little more work. Maybe a bit more shading would help. Note that the official cel-shaded figure are more detailed in their shading than the actual animation cels, in order to properly transfer the effect onto a 4D canvas:

Man oh man, Jerk, they look great! I couldn't imagine a more perfect angle or use of that expression. Goku looks so casual. "I'mma just push this back where it came from." It made me snicker.

Ayyyy... I paid 'collectors' value' ("Overrated Figures" thread, anyone?), but I don't mind. I'm psyched. I wanted him so badly as a kid. ...He and his Figuart counterpart are going to give my Piccolo the migraine of the century.

Aaaah that Jeice is droolworthy! He has articulated elbows.
You've done a fantastic job on his hair. The work you've put into it definitely shows; it has the right amount of volume and the individual strands look great. Each piece shows leaps of improvement. Your progress is impressive!
...Also, that Majin box art is astoundingly professional. Very well done.

Holy crud, Man, what a spectacle! That is an amazing assortment of prototypes; thank you for such clean pictures! I love the storyboards and cells from the show too. They have a whimsical, nostalgic charm that cannot be replaced. Props go to you for diligence, patience, and decisive spending; it definitely shows. Congratulations on such a sweet collection!

Holy heck, what is this?! I must lick it immediately!
Salutations, fellow ne'erdowells. I am Solanar, backwards-thinking pluviophile and general loser. A part-time thrift store clerk, I spend all non-bill money on plastic, resin, and vinyl crack, and waste my days doing all things art-geeky.
As a child, I watched sparse episodes of DB and DBZ whilst visiting. My friends were big fans, but I didn't understand the plot at the time. Still we made our own characters, and spent many happy hours throwing faux punches and yelling imaginary attacks. We all had stories for 'our' corners of the universe. Since my household was largely anti-violence at the time, I'd spend hours gazing longingly at the action figure section during every trip to KB Toys. But I never owned a single figure.
In middle and highschool I wasted time laughing with children in the after class programs at old DBZ Abridged content. I'd do terrible impressions of the characters, and bring smiles aplenty.
Years later, SH Figuarts came out with their amazing line. I knew I had to own some of these beauties. There was no question. It sort of sucked me back into things, and now I can't seem to escape. I'm on a quest to find all things space lizard and build the family.
So far my "collection" is pretty sparse; just a Figuarts Piccolo and Frieza (Final Form). And a mint Jakks Pacific First Form Frieza is on his way. But I am a diverse collector, so they have plenty of company from other lines to hang with. And there will be more. Oh yes.
I look forward to getting to know you as I explore. I am already digging some of the awesome collections and customs that drew me here.
Cheers!
