could anyone tell me why searching for 'the figure collection' is so difficult. i literally love the look of these figures and id like to try and get them, but searching for them seems impossible for me, i never find the results i want and any info regarding the line doesnt seem to be easily available either. could anyone give me a push in the right direction? (just trying to start collecting, so please be gentle) I also noticed that some of you mentioned the resurrection of F Gohan figure for cheap, upon searching amazon i found one, the DXF figure, but i thought that was a different line all together, am i wrong or is that the same as "the figure collection" well, it is a bit confusing. The line original name in Japanese is Chozoshu/Chouzoushu, and at first when the Resurrection F figures came out tons of people mixed it up with the DXF line, and some others translated it in some wierd way (most common wrong translation: Super Structure Collection/Super Figure Collection). Since the DBZ Vegeta figure they wrote the official name of the line in English on the box, which is The Figure Collection. But some people still mistranslate it or call it DXF, which it isn't. When I search for it online (usually on ebay) I just search all kinds of different names, even though the official name is "The Figure Collection" some people don't know it, so they list it as DXF/Super Structure Collection/'Banpreto Figure' etc... Thanks so much for trying to clear that up, its really quite frustrating as its such a good looking line, i don't want to buy the wrong figures. So correct me if i'm wrong here, a piece labeled as a DXF figure that looks like the 'figure collection' piece, is most likely what i'm looking for? And to cla rify, the DFX line isn't making similar figures at all, right? just that sellers are mislabeling them?

Hello all, my name is Hiit. Dragon Ball Z has been one of my favorite animes ever since I was a kid. Used to have ton of toys and figures, now I have tons of regrets for getting rid of them all. I signed up because I'm looking to start a collection. I stumbled upon this site after drastically researching what kind of dragon ball z figures I wanted to start collecting. Considering I'm slightly (extremely) ADD about collecting sets and not individual figures from multiple sets, it was quite overwhelming to find out out how many brands, sizes, and styles of figures there are for DBZ. After searching around on ebay for days and looking for what sets and figures I would like the most, I unfortunately fell in love with the Banpresto World Collection Figures. I say unfortunately because ebay does not have all the volumes available and the older ones sellers have available (for now) seem to be very pricey. If anyone could point me in the right direction to places where I can acquire these figures it would be greatly appreciated. Price really isn't the deciding factor though, availability is. My fear is that older volumes just aren't available anywhere anymore. If that's the case do you recommend that I try to get whats volumes are still available as it does seem like they're still making new volumes. Or should I move on to a different set, and if so, what sets do you guys here recommend? Alrighty then, with that out of the way, it's nice to be here and I look forward to sharing with you guys as my collection begins and as it grows. If you have any questions, ask away, I'm sure I'll be asking plenty myself
