I tried to contact you so many times but you never got back to me. What is the fastest method to reach you huh? Sorry, were you using the submission form on the site for commissions? I haven't been open for commissions for months so I haven't really been checking that. Fastest way to reach me is via the CanofBeams facebook or instagram pages. Also, new pics of the new SBC

have you ever made a Kamehameha fight clash (like Gohan vs Cell)? Beam clash, yes, like Gohan Vs Cell, no. I did the math and basic design work for a gohan vs cell blast. It would be very expensive and about the size of a coffee table.

Newly improved Special Beam Cannon. Longer, a little thicker, revised tip with a lot more of a drill design, fade on the spiral. I'll try to add a video later, to better show off the shape. Also, anyone who has an outstanding SBC ordered from me can upgrade to this one for free.

Hey, sorry for all the crap I caused with this on Sideshow, I'm done over there. So you aren't intending to produce yours out of molds, but rather with a foam base? Correct pink foam is what is used for 95 percent of dioramas you see at tamashii nations etc. They will all be hand made. If there is enough interest then i would have an original and use it as a mold . what material i would use? i have no clue since ive never done it before. That wont be the case for a while though. Also dont worry about them this is the site to be in lol. They blew that out of proportion! It only got worse when we took it to PMs. A lot worse. If you wanted to make a mold of one, you could use something like alumilite mold rubber to make the mold, and alumilite resin to cast it. I went that route because it offered a lot of advantages. Consistency, durability, and allowed for built in features that require sturdy firm material like stand compatibility. The downside is that molding and casting can get pricey. $20 a pound for mold rubber and some of those molds I was making were 6-8 pounds. There's also a lot of prep and nuance to the whole process that is really important, otherwise you get defects.

To get the most accurate look for this I'd need to add clear material over a smaller white core, so as to have depth between colors.
If I added clear material over a saber as it sits it would make the blade itself too large for the hilt. Maintaining proper sizing between the blade and the hilt is where it gets hard, because doing that involves a lot more complicated processes.

A bit off topic but this has been on my mind since you showed off the newer effects with white cores...would it be possible for you to make light sabers with the new method? I've always hated how Star Wars figures use basic dyed translucent plastic on the sabers when every bit of media shows sabers with a prominent white core. I'm interested to see what a saber would look like using the same method used to make the wave effects. I don't mind talking about effects for other lines at all, ever. I got the SHF Luke the other day and was thinking this same thing. I know two ways I could do it at that size, but it would be very difficult with a high chance of unit failure. Those would be REALLY small pieces to work with without machine assistance. I'm considering taking a crack at it with larger saber style items via MG or PG Gundam beamsabers.
