In the pre show for Ressurection f it came up from several of the actors actually. Oh. When I met Chris Sabat at Dallas Comic Con in June, he was telling me this theory, and he was taking ownership of it as his theory that Puar and Chaozu are figments of Tien and Yamcha's imaginations. I think I have me meeting him and him talking about this on video, but I don't have it on youtube to share it. I'll have to add it some other time if you really want to see it. I doubt you do, but just thought I'd mention it. Nah, I've seen Sabat take ownership of the joke. I'm just saying that it's now a running joke among them. Who created the joke originally doesn't make it less prevalent among the cast though. I'm really excited that a new Nappa apparently exists. I just wish they would have shown him off. Even if it was a preview night mix up to show Tien/Yamcha, why couldn't they 'accidentally' show Nappa too. Also I love that they have the GEOMETRY hands for Tien! I mean, they are kind of required, but I wouldn't have been that surprised if they didn't include them. I'm a little jaded I guess though.

Somebody who talked to Adam Newman said that it doesn't exist at the moment. So I don't know if d_amazing was lying or Adam Newman is keeping it secret.

For some reason I'm a bit torn between the reality that Nappa may or may not get released. Putting into consideration that Tamashii Nations most recent releases focus around either Dragon Ball Super or an extension of the Cell Saga its hard to think going backwards is where they want to take their DBZ releases. Tamashii Nations has some major talent when it comes to their prototypes. I'm putting my liking into a Scouter Nappa if Nappa ever gets released. Unless the previous battle damaged prototype is improved upon greatly. Also a Scouter Nappa release could make way for a Original Animation Color Edition just as the Scouter Vegeta did for its Original Animation Color Edition.

While I'm not calling either a flat out liar, d_amazing doesn't have reason to lie really outside of self-promotion, but why stir that pot when he could have left it with just Tien/Yamcha? Adam however has brand relations to think of, and saying that he doesn't have a prototype of Nappa doesn't mean that one doesn't exist. It could just be side stepping the issue. I didn't read that though so I don't know what kind of phrasing/context there was. That is decidedly not awesome to read though. :sigh:

What are the chances of a new Scouter Vegeta with updated mold? I mean it wouldn't make sense to release Nappa without a new Vegeta. I doubt many people have the old one.

I really hope they dont do that. Ive spent alot of money on my figures this last year to obtain and almost complete the line just for them to re re release with updates. Id rather get new ones and not feel like I got screwed lol

Id rather get new ones and not feel like I got screwed lol Based on the reissues that we have gotten so far, the originals generally were better releases on most accounts. However, the cost of the originals has also dived upon a new updated release. Honestly though, if you couldn't afford to lose the money you invest in action figures, you probably shouldn't have I always get puzzled by people buying up extras of recent releases in order to flip them based off the cost of Scouter Vegeta, Frieza and Cell. The only reason they are expensive now is due to popularity of the line booming, while the previous releases didn't sell through nearly as well. Now the line is booming and we are getting new collectors every day, who are still able to buy most releases in the past year at retail. Oh yeah, one other thing to note, in the past 2 years the line has exploded from 3-4 figures a year tops to the heights of almost 10-12 releases a year.

I get both sides to what you're saying. I'm waiting for Tamashii Nations 2016 in October to see what has more weight to it because I imagine, if there is a Nappa prototype, it will be revealed there along with Tien and Yamcha. While I don't see him purposely stirring the pot, I'm not sure exactly what connections d_amazing has with Bandai/Tamashii Nations to even see a Nappa prototype in the first place though. If it were at SDCC, I would think that it would be mistakenly displayed with Tien and Yamcha on Preview Night.

So, who else thinks that the next battle damaged figure should be Majin vegeta? And the following year for sdcc maybe that same vegeta but gray? (Stone when he killed himself)

(Stone when he killed himself) I think the next one will be Piccolo. They seem to be doing the Top 5 characters and the only one missing is Piccolo. I'm really looking forward to that because, since Super Saiyan (2) Son Gohan is anime colors, I'm hoping Piccolo will be as well.

I kinda figured the next one before SSJ2 Gohan was gonna be Majin but I guess they're holding him off for a bit later. I can't really think of any other battle damaged character they could release that's as iconic as Majin Vegeta. They already have Goku and Gohan's main ones, so all that's left is good ol Vegeta. This right here would be epic

Vegeta is one of their top selling characters so I feel like they have to do him at some point.

I doubt were getting a Majin Vegeta anytime soon. I'm hoping for a new Scouter Vegeta, it's also more likely since there's a Nappa 2.0 floating around. So next year we will probably get the following:
Gohan SSJ2 Cell PC Tien Yamcha Nappa armored Vegeta (Scouter) Piccolo Battle Damaged Goku base form(new mold)
I'm not sure why but I feel like this line-up is very likely because it's going to cater to the new and old collectors.

As much as I like that line-up, it doesn't have any Dragon Ball Super releases. 2017 is going to be balanced with Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Z releases. So maybe Super Saiyan (2) Son Gohan, Premium Color Perfect Cell, Tien, Nappa, and then Dragon Ball Super releases like Hit, Future Trunks, and Black. Edited: There has to be a Goku release in there. After I re-read that line-up, I don't think most of them would make potentially good/high sales for Tamashii Nations.

I'm honestly not sure what Super characters would make it, but I guess Black and Trunks would be a very likely candidates. I put Goku in there because I'm sure they're not going leave him out of it. He is the most popular character after all.
