Its all about marketing, just put yourself as a boss of a huge company which is being noticed by billions, you would like to make the most amount of profit right? Unfortunately, bussiness careers make you greedy. But we can see this in a positive point of view, they are releasing every character possible to please the needs of certain people. When broly was first release some people bitched about the hair and how its not accurate to the anime, thats what this exclusive is for. Basically they are trying to make the most amount of money by making the most popular characters and make slight changes to them and we can see it that they are pleasing every person by releasing as many characters as possible. As some people say, buy the ones YOU like, if they are for investment purposes thats different, but I think that the rule that every collectpr has to have every damn figure is just plain stupid and retarded no offense. They cannot release every popular character in the anime in a short range of time and continuosly for if they do that they stop hitting their jackpots of money, they release popular characters every once in a while to complement the sales that dod not end well such as gohan and vegetto.

Tamashii must think that the collector's of this line are the most stupid customers of the planet. Considering how they just dooped tons of people into buying PC Trunks and Vegeta (simple recolors) only to turn around and release super Vegeta & trunks I'd say you're absolutely right. Hoardes of fans keep begging for ss4 Goku, Nappa, Tien, Yamcha...etc only to get slightly different versions of the four main characters over and over again. They don't respect their customers to whatsoever. You either collect the entire line or you don't. No "duping" about it. You either want the figures or you don't. If you collect the entire series, you're getting everyone regardless of how many repaints they do. Welcome to the world of collectibles.

Tamashii must think that the collector's of this line are the most stupid customers of the planet. You've come to that conclusion over an SDCC Exclusive recolor that Bluefin themselves submitted? I doubt tamashii gave them much of a choice. They probably refused to do ss3 goku, cell, namek armor vegeta, or even krillin because they realized they could make more money releasing them as premium colors instead. They probably even regret doing last year's sdcc goku.

Which one is more accurate to the films though? This SDCC exclusive, or the web shop exclusive? I personally think that it depends on which movie you're talking about. The greener hair is more so for recent animations and the first movie, while the original, to me, resembles his appearance in Second Coming. Either way, only time will tell.

You think the quality control will be decent with the upcoming SDCC? Just bought android 18 mint and it had a giant blob of red paint on the leg which had to be scratched off. Cell also came with paint issues on his shoulder. I hope this new SDCC has no problems like that. Nothing more worrying then carefully opening up the shipper and box to see a random paint color somewhere.

I finally started Super. I was sick of waiting for Funimation to start the dub. Enjoyable so far. Just have to get past the Golden Frieza saga so I can get to some new stuff. Can't wait to watch the Future Trunks/Black Goku saga.

It's going to happen and, if they knew when best to capitalize, it would be the perfect release to go along with their Premium Color Final Form Frieza.
