Hey guys, this is my first post on here but I've been following along and reading almost all the different threads for a little while now. I've recently got into collecting DB figuarts. My first one was a Saiyan raised on Earth Goku, which I bought out of pure nostalgia this past September but it sent me down a rabbit hole and now I'm obsessed.
Anyways, I couldn't fine a thread about this specific problem. I don't know for sure if this is some sort of artistic shading but for a number of my figuarts I've started to notice they have a sort of dark green-ish tint around the nose area. I first noticed it on a SSGSS Vegeta I got pre-owned and I figured maybe the owner had gotten it dirty or something. I tried rubbing it off but eventually just let it be, it wasn't all that noticeable. But then I began to see it on the SROE Goku. I bought a second one to display in a different pose but that one had a green-ish nose right out of the box. I've even noticed it on a brand new Tien figure and on a Time Patroller Trunks I bought loose.
I've included a picture of these 4 head sculpts. I've tried looking at them under different kinds of light but I still see it. What's more, the place I bought the TP Trunks from has recently put out a loose SSGSS Vegeta up for sale and his face is covered in that sort of green-ish tint, starting from his nose.
Am I crazy or is this just some shading so the faces don't look flat? Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have them all displayed on a shelf in my room
in dry condition. Occasionally I pose them differently but I don't mess around with them too much. The figuarts I have that don't seem to have this problem are Master Roshi, Frieza 2.0, Warrior Awakening Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta 2.0, Scouter Vegeta 2.0, Cell Saga Trunks, kid Goku and a Kid Gohan 1.0.
Sorry for the rant, was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this sort of problem and how I could maybe fix it.
