Hey guys, this is my first post on here but I've been following along and reading almost all the different threads for a little while now. I've recently got into collecting DB figuarts. My first one was a Saiyan raised on Earth Goku, which I bought out of pure nostalgia this past September but it sent me down a rabbit hole and now I'm obsessed. Anyways, I couldn't fine a thread about this specific problem. I don't know for sure if this is some sort of artistic shading but for a number of my figuarts I've started to notice they have a sort of dark green-ish tint around the nose area. I first noticed it on a SSGSS Vegeta I got pre-owned and I figured maybe the owner had gotten it dirty or something. I tried rubbing it off but eventually just let it be, it wasn't all that noticeable. But then I began to see it on the SROE Goku. I bought a second one to display in a different pose but that one had a green-ish nose right out of the box. I've even noticed it on a brand new Tien figure and on a Time Patroller Trunks I bought loose. I've included a picture of these 4 head sculpts. I've tried looking at them under different kinds of light but I still see it. What's more, the place I bought the TP Trunks from has recently put out a loose SSGSS Vegeta up for sale and his face is covered in that sort of green-ish tint, starting from his nose. Am I crazy or is this just some shading so the faces don't look flat? Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have them all displayed on a shelf in my room in dry condition. Occasionally I pose them differently but I don't mess around with them too much. The figuarts I have that don't seem to have this problem are Master Roshi, Frieza 2.0, Warrior Awakening Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta 2.0, Scouter Vegeta 2.0, Cell Saga Trunks, kid Goku and a Kid Gohan 1.0. Sorry for the rant, was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this sort of problem and how I could maybe fix it.

What the... I checked my SSGSS, SROE and Xeno Trunks and they all have this! I've never noticed! It's most obvious head on it seems, as I turn them it's not as noticeable, but they do all have that green nose! Mine are all mint condition so nothing has caused this, and I dont think it is shading that was intentionally put there. It's very strange! Now I can't unsee it. LOL! Gonna have to go get them all out now and obsess over it!
Edit: It really seems to be a transparency thing. The plastic is just super thin there! I don't think painting it or anything would help. Skin does have green and blue undertones so it kinda makes sense, even if it's unsightly at just the right angle.

A lot of figures do have this
Whether it’s intentional or not though isn’t known

You're right, it has to be because of the super thin plastic on the nose, it becomes kinda see-through and it does become less noticeable from the sides. I kinda wish the faces had some shading or something. I wouldn't know how to fix this at all but from certain angles it looks kinda silly. Originally I was worried that something in my room was making them rot. But I collect figures from some other lines and they don't seem to have this problem. Still that Vegeta I saw loose for sale seemed to have it all over the front of it's face. The Xeno Trunks I bought loose was about 12 bucks, if the Vegeta is still there around the same price I'll pick it up tomorrow to post. Just happy to know I'm not totally crazy.
