I know this thread is a tad late, but I'd like to know which Figuarts figures you guys enjoyed out of 2017. If possible, could you give a valid reason as to why you enjoyed the figure you voted for (E.G, Not just because new is good, provide reasons as to why you enjoyed it), if not, that's fine. If I can, prior to the poll ending, I'll tell you the results.

Nappa is my favorite so far this year. He's a character that's been teased for so long, to finally get him was so amazing.
As for the rest... wow, this was not the best year was it? I remember so much more coming out this year.
-Perfect Cell was nice, but he's a repaint of a much older figure that was only good in the sense it gave guys like me a chance to buy him for less than $200.
-I was excited for the Xenoverse figs, but tbh they existed more as custom figure fodder than anything to me. On their own... I like Trunks enough (probably the best paint job for his normal head so far) ans it's the one I have on my shelf, but that's because I'm a weirdo like that.
-The Kaioken Gokus are an affront to me. Beyond just the AWFUL gimmick and the fact that they stretched it to TWO convention exclusives, it doesn't even do it's ONE job well. If you look at the actual shots of Goku in Kaioken, his hair is red, his undershirt (and all his blue sections) are purple, and his gi is a much brighter red-orange color. It's a cheap repaint that fails at the one look it's going for, and it boggles me that they released it TWICE.
-Scouter Vegeta is a much needed upgrade to a figure with a ton of problems (loose scouter, bad hips that lead to falling over constantly, etc) that unfortunately comes with it's own issues with regard to the paint job. While I can 100% say it's the better figure, it's hard not to compare the shading on the original to the flat paint job they gave the newer figure. I personally prefer it because I feel the original is TOO shade heavy, but it's hard not to feel like they could have had something in the middle between the extremes.
-Nappa is Nappa. After years of waiting, the Pattycake champion is HERE. Gives me hope for certain OTHER characters they've prototyped for years and never FREAKING released.
-SSJ3 Goku is... fine. Not a fan of the form myself, but it looks good and the face is reasonably better than the original.
-SSJ God Goku is good, though it does unfortunately fall short of the previous prototype, which captured the lean look of the form much better.
-Shenron is a bit small to be strictly in scale with the figures, but it's a fun addition and the fact that they even got away with it is a testament to the line. Pain in the ass to put together though, I'll be honest.
-I barely qualify Yamcha, much less Tien, as this year because I *just* got my Yamcha a week or so ago, and Tien doesn't ship until end of Jan 2018. That said, they're both solid representations of fan favorites, though Chiaotzu's inability to be used in ANYTHING aside from the ONE pose definitely knocks the Tien figure down a peg for me. I don't mind a pack in designed for another figure (the Krillin head that came with 18 was pretty cool) but it should compliment the figure I'm BUYING.
However, technically (in terms of sculpt, paint, and character accuracy) Yamcha is probably the best of the year. I just rank Nappa higher *personally* because it's one I've wanted since I started collecting the figures.

For me my fav on a personal note was ssj3 Goku and PC Perfect Cell. Cells green pops and looks great with all the Cell saga figures around him. The older versions green just didnt do it for me. And personally ssj3 goku is my fav version of goku of all time. And missing out on his original release combined with him not having that god awful shading of the first release makes him one of my favs. Shenron is an amazing figure as well although i dnt have him i will probably pick him up for $75 on ebay. So my list for 2017 would be: 1. Ssj3 Goku 2. PC Perfect Cell 3. Shenron
Runners up would be saiyan saga Nappa and saiyan saga vegeta 2.0

I didn't get many of these yet, but I'd say Nappa. Nappa and Shenron are the only ones I have though.

I somehow misssed this thread completely until now but just made sure to get a vote in before it was finished. Personally I'm pretty torn on SS3 Goku, SSG Goku and Nappa.
Most of the other figures on the list are pretty great too (2017 was a good year for figuarts) though I didn't get the Time Patroller or Kaio-ken Goku and I'm still waiting for my Yamcha & Tien (they're sitting in my Pile of Loot at BBTS, just waiting a bit longer to ship it) so I can't really comment on those yet. The rest were all fantastic though, the only issues I've had is a tiny paint slotch on my PC Cell (on the top of his gut so it's easy enough to cover but still not quite perfect), the obvious lack of shading on 2.0 Vegeta and the akwardness/static-ness (I think I just made that up) of Shenron. All three of those are still great though, just nitpicking that takes them down a bit compared to some of the other figures.

Although I love the Yamcha Figuarts figure, I must admit, I truly have more fun posing the Tien. Tien had more attacks than anybody else in DB/Z and he can pose for most of them with the hands and faces he was given. Sure, his default face isn't as good as it could have been, since the eyes are rounded, and there's not a huge need for that strange shocked face, but he's really good. Yamcha should have come with 2 Sokidan (spirit ball) hands (instant transmission hands) instead of the flared hands with fingers outstretched, and I don't see much use for 2 of his faces.
Shenron is nice, but pretty boring. They could have just made a statue and I would have been fine with that. He also outgasses a stinky odor that hasn't gone away yet.

Completely missed the thread...I'd like to recap some of my thoughts (and personal scores) for each release.
Super Saiyan Son Gohan (Battle Damaged) Great sculpt, solid design, hurt by a small amount of faces and the salmon pink skin tone. 6/10
Perfect Cell - Premium Color Edition Could have/should have been great. I still hate the mint/jade green and light magenta combo. 4/10
Trunks - Xenoverse Edition A solid figure. Odd that it didn't have an actual waist and very bad that the faces aren't compatible with the Super Saiyan Trunks heads. They seriously need to stop going out of their way to prevent part swapping, part swapping is one of the best aspects of the line. 8/10
Time Patroller A lot of people hated this and felt like it was a waste of a release. I'm not a big fan of it but thought the figure was well done. I don't care about it enough to complain. 7/10
Kaioken Goku My second favorite exclusive behind the SDCC Frieza Saga Goku. 9/10
Scouter Vegeta 2.0 Biggest disappointment of the year for me. The prototype looked so perfect compared to the final release. The skin tone wasn't terrible, it's good for other figures, but it's DEFINITELY bad for Vegeta and Nappa. Then there's the indigo blue suit...bad compared to the azure blue that the prototype had. Still, as a figure, it was fairly solid and I really liked what they did with the new torso. 5/10
Nappa The skin tone almost ruins the figure for me, but since it could have been skipped entirely, I've been ignoring it...plus, it's a very well designed figure. 9/10
Super Saiyan 3 Goku 2.0 Pretty good figure, unfortunately inferior now that the 2.0 Goku body has been updated (perfected?). Disregarding that, the arms on this one are bad, they're stuck too far in the chest and the biceps are strangely slumped over (leaning towards the torso). The skin tone was OK but had too much red bias in the hue. Other than that, the colors were great, very pleasing to look at. 7/10
Super Saiyan God Goku I wanted to say it's perfect but can't, the faces hurt the figure too much. They look somewhat chubby and the irises didn't have black outlines (worth pointing out because that's a very simple addition to make). I haven't bought it yet so I can't say for sure but the skin tone seems to be perfect for Goku figures. 8/10
Shenron No real thoughts on it. It is what it is. It's the one figure in the entire line I truly don't care about so I won't comment on it or score it.
Yamcha/Saibaman No big complaints. I would say it's perfect but can't since it doesn't have the Android Saga hair part. Despite that, it's a VERY good figure. 9/10
Tien/Chiaoutzu I didn't think I'd have this reaction but Tien takes the cake for me. I agree that the default stoic face looks bad with the rounder eyes yet I just can't seem to hate this figure. If I had to say anything, it really should have had a lighter/pinker skin tone...and, maybe a larger waist like the 2.0 Goku has. Regardless, I think it was the best release of the year. 10/10

Thanks for voting, all of you! To be frank, my favorite was Kaioken Goku. Mainly because of the paint apps and red aura.
