I miss the old days of Irwin and Jakks Pacific. I'd love to see Dragon Ball Super get licensed by Funimation and see a new era of Dragon Ball rise again in the USA. Anyone else? Not saying it could happen. But having a thread like this, that shows the interest of the fanbase, can never hurt.

Miss them too, the good ol days when i sneaked in to every toy shop(took my cousins along too at times) to get the Jakks/Irwins but couldn't get all due to limited cash in my small baby pockets. I sometimes have happy dreams that I've entered a toy shop(in 2016) which has all the Db/Dbz/Dbgt figures I've wanted. Cool site MajinRob. I visit it to get my latest dose of new releases. ^^ And I miss that Gohan display pic you had before man, it was so cool and funny.

What are you talking about? it can happen and probably will given Toysrus and other retailers have already started to carry new DBZ merch including the new TCG

It's more complicated than that, it's more an issue of licensing and distribution rights.

not really, it will happen the exact same way it did before and the same way current anime do now like Sailor moon and Bakugan snd such

Bandai has no reason to sell or lease the license to a US toy maker now a days. Especially when the last time they did this the companies went belly up. There was a time when Bandai sold figures themselves in the US and they did pretty poorly, giving them less reason to want to sell something exclusively here.

5 inch scale Dragonball Super figures with only about 10 points of articulation sure would be nice to have.

And then we got the Dragon Stars line and everyone despised it for not looking as good as $100 (CAD) imports. We can't have easy and cheap access to these products because of the "I will pay any price to get a perfect figure" crowd.

Give me Dragonball Super figures like this and I will be the happiest collector out there. These would retail for $7.99....HELL, I'd pay $15 per figure now just to have 5 inch scale again with basic articulation.

Yeah, they don't need to be perfect if they are cheap and the right size to go into my collection. We need 5 inch scale figures in the ~$12 area.

They would have all my money. Jakks is still in business. Toei should give them the license again.

Same here. Knowing Jakks, they'd make 6-7 inch scale at this point. No one makes 5 inch scale anymore.

I would LOVE too see a company like Jakks make figures again like the old Irwin ones. That would make me so happy too see. Especially if they had the same articulation and were made out of the same material.
