my name is June and I'm a Keshi & mini figures addict lol. I've also gotten into Dragon Ball even thou I've been watching anime lol. Well I bought a lot of Keshi Figs and got some dragon ball Figs in it, and I have to say the sculpts are awesome especially the ones with armor I started doing some research and found out more about the characters and eventually some story lines. So now I want to know more and see more DBZ haha I'm so happy I found this forum.
Well ima stop ranting But 1st if anyone can steer me in the right direction about DBZ Keshi figures I'm trying to get my figures organized and also there's so much dragon ball cartoons I want to start watching from the very beginning, anyone steer me in the righteous direction lol.
While I cannot help with the figures, someone here may be able to. As for the Anime/Manga, Dragonball is a much different story than Dragonball Z really. It evolved from it's inception, so if you're looking for powered up fights and constant escalation of power, that's pretty much a Z experience. I would stills tart with Dragonball though, and go through all of it.
I would recommend instead of watching Dragonball Z though, instead watch Dragonball Kai, as it is an abridged version of Dragonball Z that cuts out a lot of filler. It's not a popular opinion, but when you can sum up most of the series in 1/2 of the time, you will be more likely to finish it. After that, maybe watch the original run of Z.
The 'best' way to experience Dragonball Z is through the Dragon Box release of the series, which is much harder to find.
For reference, original run of DBZ: 291 episodes, DB Kai: 150. Of note, the last arch of Kai has yet to be translated for American release.
