It hasn't even been scheduled for release yet, let alone confirmed. So wtf would you pre-order Goku several months in advance? It's an action figure not a european car, guys! C'mon Krillin hasn't even been released yet. I understand that you're eager to get your mits on him asap, but there is such a thing as being overeager. I personally think it is borderline capitalism for stores to be accepting pre-orders so soon, with so very little facts.

I preordered the new Samus Arran Statue 6 months early, it was sold out by the end of the month and just shipped out yesterday (not dragonball but an example)

Pre-Orders allow for stores to know how many people are interested in a certain item.
And besides, with places like BigBadToyStore, you don't actually have to pay to Pre-Order the item, so you can simply just put an item you want on pre-order and it will automatically deduct the funds the day the item comes into stock before being shipped off.

Also sometimes if a company doesn't get enough preorders they can cancel the item outright. Happens all the time with DC Trades. I will be waiting for Goku to go up on Collec-Toys though as they normally have reduced preorder prices.

If you pre order from anime island prepare to have the figure delivered to you 2 months after the release. thats what happened with my saiyan saga vegeta. I pre ordered it first from there, then amazon. once i received it from amazon i bought it at toys r us completely forgetting i had pre ordered it first from anime island. toys r us cam and 3 weeks later anime island came lmaoooo.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys. I'm defiantly going to go check out mine and see if this isn't too good to be true. Going to get the MMPR and Megaman figures. Here's the video to show proof.

Whoa nice find! I searched all over trying to find a local store that sold Figuarts, but never even thought to check Barnes and Noble.

That's interesting! With a Barnes and noble membership you can get 10% off too if I remember their membership correctly.
