I bought $7 worth of stones last night on my main to do one last multi on the Broly banner and didn't get anything important at all. The stuff coming out of those banners was utter crap for both of my accounts after the discounted 300 hours or whatever ended.
Did a multi on my alt on the peppy gals banner and got the last AGI Mai dupe I needed and nothing else...
There are some great looking King Piccolo saga units coming to the Japanese version today.
Well, I am getting married in just over 6 weeks, so it's time I start decreasing my dokkan battle time, whether I like it or not. So my posts about the game are going to get shorter and fewer, provided I have the discipline to ignore it lol.
In other news, I got Brianne de Chateau on my first multi on my main account and I couldn't be happier! Nice leader, cute art, and a new female to the game. What could be better?
Anyway, I used my stamina farming medals to awaken the girls. People on the comment section on Facebook are saying not to summon on this banner, while I'm saying summon for all 3 of the discounted ones if you like Kefla and Caulifla and want to rainbow them. The odds of you getting them on one of those first 3 multisummons is a lot better than most other banners, and they are extremely useful on a lot of different teams and for a lot of different purposes. For example, on my alt account, I was able to easily beat Peppy Gals SBR maybe 8 times in a row with SS2 Kefla with 2 open paths, SS Kefla with 1 open path, and a friend SS2 Kefla with at least 1 open path. It was easy too. Just had rainbowed PHY Videl, TEQ Bulma, AGI SS2 Caulifla, and Bulla on my team. Piece of cake. The easiest SBR if you lead with Kefla instead of an actual Peppy Gals leader.
After you get enough medals to dokkan all of the current girls (100 of the medals for the 5 girls), you'll want to collect another 40 for TEQ Bulla and STR Chi Chi's future dokkan awakenings. So that's 140 medals in total. I'm averaging around 4 medals per run, so it's not exactly a fast grind.
Note: On the curse of the blood rubies event, you're NOT going to want to farm extra dokkan awakening medals from stage 6 for Goku. Those aren't the same ones that will make him into a UR or an LR Goku and Arale in the future.
so if you haven't already awakened 2 SA10 ones and 4 SA 1 ones to open all 4 paths on one of the SA10 cards, you'll need 30 of these total
in the future, you'll need 60 of these to dokkan awaken both SA10 cards, but they aren't available yet in the more distant future, you'll need 100 of these to dokkan both SA10 cards
The keys were added to the game this morning. Some of the ancient events are missing though! No baseball Yamcha event, no Arale event, no Strike Kibito event, no PHY Piccolo Jr. event, no event where you can dokkan awaken Barlot. I think the event where you can farm AGI SSR Piccolos is missing too. The GT event with Frieza and Cell as well.
I was just reading how bitter sweet it is to have the keys and still be assed out trying to awaken LR Beerus. And low and behold, that's who i pull in the LR Banner. I instantly feel their pain. You don't want to use up the keys at a chance to farm his medals. And then you can't buy the mrdals in the shop either.
I used the $8 stones on 1 multi on my main, and 2 on my alt. Didn't get any Keflas. Got my 2nd Videl dupe and 2nd Pan dupe for my alt, so that was nice... I guess. On my main I got Pan as well, and I didn't even check to see if I cared lol. Hopefully with tonight's login items I'll have enough to do my last 30 stone multi on my main, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get lucky and get another Kefla.
I didn't figure I'd get an LR, and the SSR pool is enormous on that banner, so I have no interest in it.
On 3/18/19 which people say is "Saiyan Day" both Global and Japan are supposed to have a transforming Vegeta card dokkan fest. So now I am disappointed I likely won't have the stones to try to get him, because I still want to try to get Kefla, and one multi wasn't going to do it anyway...
I finished AGI LR SS Future Trunks on my alt and was able to beat Hybrid Saiyans SBR with this team:
Leader: STR Ultimate Gohan, no dupes STR Rainbow bee Pan PHY Pan (rainbowed... otherwise barely worthy of the team...) AGI Rainbowed LR SS Future Trunks SA13/20 (would have been easier if he was SA20, but I don't have the kais) STR EZA SS Goten SA14/15 with 3 dupes (would have been a little easier if he was rainbowed and SA15) PHY SS Gotenks SA10, 3 dupes (still the weak link of the team, even with 3 dupes, he just can't take hits well) Friend: Rainbowed Ultimate Gohan Items: the typical Android 8, Icarus, Whis, Princess Snake
With this team, I had trouble doing damage and because of SS Gotenks being a weak little jerk, I was worried I wouldn't win, because I was having to heal. Oh, and Ultimate Gohan not tanking more consistently sucked. I hate him. He sucks so much. He's such an inconsistent, undependable jerk. But without 2 of him, you can't do it. PHY Pan would take hits well enough if Ult Gohan was on the same turn (his passive gives +50% def). Otherwise, her defense wasn't great. She wouldn't have been worthy of the team w/o being rainbowed. Her damage she'd deal was pretty pathetic at a max of around 300k. EZA SS Goten is still the MVP as well as LR SS FT. Not having LR SS FT at SA20 made it take a lot longer to defeat enemies.
In other news, on JP, TEQ SS3 Gotenks is getting an EZA, which is going to make this unit that still remains viable as he is, into an even more viable option. His leader skill will be TEQ Type Ki +4 and HP, ATK & DEF +100%, and his super attack will turn into Raises ATK for 1 turn and causes immense damage to enemy, Massively raises ATK for 1 turn and causes immense damage to enemy, or Causes supreme damage to enemy and greatly lowers DEF with 12 ki. That basically means an improvement to each of them. His passive will become ATK +140% when performing a Super Attack; DEF +70% when Ki is 11 or less. So hitting that 11 ki super attack is going to be even better than before. No more keeping him next to SS4 Gogeta (who makes him have 11 ki already... making 11 ki attack impossible).
Zero to do in the game today, other than LR SS Vegeta crap. Boring. So tired of using a planet Namek team for everything. The peppy gal team isn't worthwhile to waste orbs on f2p units and the idea of using a Movie Heroes team is silly.
I feel the same way. With some of the limitations for events, it's like why put so much time in a unit that won't have that much use outside of going out of my way to use it. That goes for LR Trunks too. Now that there is the new Transforming Vegeta, I'd rather wait to see if get him first.
LR SS Future Trunks is a very worthwhile unit, if only for his ability to actually help you win Hybrid Saiyans SBR since Ultimate Gohan sucks so much.
Tournament started this morning. I had to be up at 4 a.m. to go to a 7 a.m. dentist appointment. Really sucks that even being up that early (literally when maintenance stopped), by 4:15 a.m. I was already 26,000 overall and 8th locally. Like wtf, 26,000 people are really going hardcore at 4 a.m.? Annoying.
I'm thankful I only have 2 accounts now. I don't have the time to play this tourney very much, but I absolutely have to get the last dupe I need for LR Tien, or I'll be upset. So I gotta play quite a bit whether I like it or not.
Anyway, I want to run PHY movie Broly this time, but I don't know the best team to build with him. Leading with him doesn't give me much HP, however, I am satisfying the 7 rounds of "transforming" category mission (and running Chi Chi to satisfy both Peppy Gals AND World Tournament missions). I must say, my characters aren't hitting very hard with him as the leader.
My current team is:
PHY Broly STR Chi Chi INT Metal Cooler STR Broly AGI Turles INT Raditz Friend: I'm trying to find an AGI Turles each time, and if not, then STR LR Broly
Items: Shu, Tree of Might Fruit, Yemma, Ghost Usher
I have 1 dupe in Broly, and he only hits for about 500,000 minimum and I believe I'm on 3.5X difficulty. That's not going to be nearly enough later on.
After completing the 7 wins missions, I can finally use a real team for the tournament.
I decided to make a mixed Movie Bosses/Full Power team. I wish PHY Broly led Pure Saiyans instead of Full Power... I constantly forget that he doesn't lead Pure Saiyans, which is probably why my attack-all guys (like Raditz) weren't doing so hot in those 7 play-throughs.
PHY Broly (mostly completed, 1 dupe open) STR EZA Broly (3 dupes) AGI Turles for buffing + ki (2 dupes) INT Metal Cooler for buffing + ki (mine is rainbowed, so he is ok) STR Fat Buu for orb changing, attack all, and nuking (mine has 2 dupe paths open and completed, SA10) PHY Kefla for orb changing Friend: AGI Turles
So I have 3 attack all units, 2 major buffing units (3 if I get AGI Turles as a friend), and an orb changer, who technically hurts Fat Buu's ability to change orbs, but I don't care at the moment).
Well. I wasn't so happy about the maintenance befire the tournament myself. Since I was awake at work at during the whole time. I'm in the 7000's now and my goal is to stay under 10k. I'm second in locals, and there is zero chance at coming in first. I can't even see how someone can have so many wins without nodding or literally not having anything to do but play. And then have a buddy play while you sleep.
My team has been:
Phy Broly Eza Broly STR Buu (orbs and Aoe) STR Majin Vegeta (orbs) Agl Golden Frieza (Rainbowed) Int Chiaotzu
Friend Phy Broly.
I've tried Turles out as a friend, but I'd rather have him myself. A man can dream. I do like that they've given us a copy of the Gohan in the rewards though.
Tomorrow night or Monday night should be crazy with that new Begets. We still don't know what the banner will be like,
On my main account, I finished all the SBR missions and got my last INT LR monkey king Goku card.
My team for the tournament on my main account was the best team for a tournament I've ever had. I didn't play too many hours... maybe 12 total... and I was able to breeze right through rounds. I placed 10th locally, 23,889 overall. My team was
PHY SS Broly, 1 dupe, SA10 AGI Turles, 2 dupes, SA10 STR EZA Broly, 3 dupes, SA15 STR Fat Buu, 2 dupes, SA10 INT Metal Cooler, rainbowed PHY Kefla, 1 dupe I think, SA10 Friend: LR Broly
Items: Yemma, Ghost Usher, STR Puar, Shuu
Fat Buu was the MVP. His orb changing, nuking, and attack-all super attack made things quick when he'd come up. He'd hit just as hard as an LR Broly friend (w/o any dupes). Kefla helped orb change. Metal Cooler helped with ki and buffing just like Turles did. Overall a very nice team. EZA Broly was the weak link, just because of his lack of ki links, so I did go through quite a lot of Puar and Shuu items.
My alt account I didn't play as much. I only got to the reward for 25 million points. Locally I was around 35 I think.
My team on there was something like:
PHY SS Broly, no dupes, SA10 STR LR Broly, SA20, no dupes INT Super Android 13, SA1, no dupes AGI Golden Frieza, rainbowed PHY Kefla, 2 dupes and I don't remember my last character.
This team did ok. Wasn't great. Did ok.
I've struck out on the transforming Vegeta banner on both accounts. Bought both $8 stone packs on both accounts and didn't get anything worth mentioning. :/
The current battlefield is annoying, because Zamasu is STR, and the healing on AGI isn't so hot. I didn't manage to defeat him on my alt this morning, so I'm going to have to start over and make sure I bring a stunner. In other words, bring AGI Mai. SSB Goku in the final round is AGI, so you'll need an extra TEQ team.
Basically, here are the teams you need (I typically use Extreme teams first since those teams tend to be weaker than Super teams due to fewer units to choose from, and those first few bosses are easier to defeat):
Planet Namek Saga Ext INT
Ext AGI Ext PHY Ext STR
Sup INT Sup STR Sup AGI + may need a 2nd Sup AGI team to finish him off Sup PHY Sup TEQ + Ext TEQ
Levels 1 to 5 you fight PHY Trunks 6 to 10 you fight TEQ Vegeta 11 to 15 you fight PHY Trunks 16 to 20 TEQ Vegeta 21 to 30 both TEQ Vegeta and PHY Trunks
And overall, TEQ, PHY, and AGI (Super only) are nerfed in these battles. So you're stuck with STR, INT, and Extreme AGI units. Based on the typing here, that means you're going to want to challenge lvls 1-5 with STR, 6-10 with INT, 11-15 with STR, 16 to 20 with INT, 21 to 30 with STR (if you're doing a mono team).
Realm of Gods category characters take less damage and cause increased damage. There aren't tons of units in that category, but there are a lot of these units in those available colors, and it's kind of cool that you get to fight them with mostly characters from that saga/timeframe. They thought this out really well!
Basically, these are your options:
STR: LR Beerus, LR SSB Vegito, SSG Vegeta, Toppo, Jiren, SSB Goku, SSG Goku, Beerus, SSB Vegeta, SS Rose, Zamasu, West Supreme Kai
INT: UI Goku, Beerus, SSG Goku, SSB Vegeta, Whis, Zamasu, Grand Supreme Kai (fat one), Demigra, SSB Goku, Supreme Kai
I got the new INT Vegeta on the banner via stones I earned/collected on my main account. This banner is not being kind to me on either account. Lots of trash. I got like my 7th dupe of SS4 Gogeta this morning on my alt.
I was really hoping for TEQ SS4 Goku or the new PHY transforming Vegeta.
Ended up getting SS3 Bardock on the banner on both accounts. Nice. Not what I wanted, but nice.
LR Tien is officially rainbowed on both accounts even though he largely doesn't have a purpose outside of increasing the money drop rate on Hercule's tournament. He's Tien, I gotta have him rainbowed. Placed 10th on my main for local, 35 or something for my alt. Overall was like 24,000 or something on my main.
The person who came in 1st identified himself here. His player rank is 762, and for comparison's sake I play the game a lot and am well over 1300 login days and I am rank 529. He has 260 stamina, I have 201. He has 1 billion zeni more than I do. I won the tournament 38 times, he won it 450 times. My longest win streak was 38, his was 450. He got 440,136,893 points in the tournament, I got 32,673,234. He's both incredible and insane, and well, I'm also a little sad for him, for depleting so much of his actual health and money doing this.
This is a video of him doing a complete tournament play through. You can see his team and how quickly he defeated everybody. He said he was playing on an iPhone XS.
Apparently me collecting items is taking up more time than I realize... and trying to get the bonus spaces in the prelims. I think I still prefer collecting as many pink-gold capsules as I can. The game sure runs silky smooth on his phone compared to my galaxy S9. I'm running mine on power save mode or whatever in the game settings, so I guess that has a lot to do with it. There's no particular strategy/secrets to learn from this video I guess, except to skip hunting for items and have 2 LR Brolys if you want to go quickly.
He also ran a different team as well, and it was another 6 minute team.
It's the type of team I turn my nose up at since I have so many ghost ushers. It has Jaco and Chaozu on it. Since I don't have an LR Broly with dupes, I don't consider this a team I can play, and I wouldn't like to play it either. I'm jealous he can make it through the prelims in just over 2 minutes though. I surely spend 5 minutes there. The last minute showcases how badass STR Fat Buu is.
He doesn't have INT Raditz on his team, so I guess Raditz is truly too old to really compete now that there are so many teams led by PHY Broly. I could mostly build this same team on both accounts... both accounts just missing 1 unit each. I guess I could try it next time...
He said he used 103 stones recharging his stamina. He lives in France, so his end-time isn't in the middle of the night like us. He said he slept Friday and Saturday night 7 hours each, didn't sleep Sunday, and played nonstop until the tournament ended at 7 a.m.
He said he goes hardcore for the potential orbs primarily, because that reward is excellent. And he spends so much money on the game that he needs potential orbs for all of his cards. Here's pics of the rewards he got.
