Recently, Tamashii released an enemy 4 pack for Mario characters. It got me wondering if we really want the physically smaller characters to be released as additional accessories for larger characters, or if we would just want them in a larger pack together! Here are examples for what the options are. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"No! I want the smaller characters to accompany larger figures." - Example: Chiaotzu coming with Tien.
"Yes! I want a 2 pack with a lot of articulation/accessories for each figure." - Example: An Oolong and Puar 2 pack, with multiple faces, stands, points of articulation, and possibly transformations for both.
"Yes! I want a 3 pack with little articulation/accessories for each figure." - Example: Chiaotzu, Oolong and Puar all in one pack. Maybe each coming with one additional face, and can maybe move their arms.
"Yes! I want a 3 pack with a lot of articulation/accesories for one figure, and none for the others!" - Example: A specific character-prioritized pack. Kid Gohan (from the very beginning DBZ), Icarus, and Korin. Kid Gohan comes with multiple accessories, faces. Icarus and Korin come with maybe a removable head/no points of articulation.
"Yes! I want a 4 pack with incredibly limited articulation/accessories for each figure!" - Example: Chiaotzu, Kid Gohan, Oolong, and Puar likely unable to move at all.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personally, my favorite is the 3 pack with a lot of articulation/accesories for 1 character, and nearly none for the others. These are example packs I would think would be cool for production. Pack 1 - Chiaotzu (Prioritized w/accesories, heads, articulation), Bubbles, Gregory. (A hammer for Gregory.) Pack 2 - Oolong (Prioritized, faces, ect.), Puar, Turtle. (Puar would have 2 extra heads, Turtle would have none.) Pack 3 - Kid Gohan (Prioritized), Korin, Icarus. (Maybe additional head for Korin)
Feel free to make lists for who you think should be in the hypothetical multiple packs!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Edit* Sorry, I should have put "Barely any" as opposed to "none" for the "Yes! I want a 3 pack with a lot of articulation/accesories for one figure, and none for the others!" category.

The main problem I have with smaller multipacks id that the very same Mario enemy pack has zero articulation for any of the figures. They are just little statues on bases. I don't want something like that, I'd like some articulation on all my figuarts. Otherwise, why even buy it? Why not just buy the little figurines we already have?

I agree! I think I'm personally just not a fan of the concept of smaller figures coming with larger figures, particularly if the aim is for them to have high articulation. I feel it would really limit accessories on the larger figure. (IE an articulate Chiaotzu I think would kill hopes for a sash torso/white tee torso, a tri beam/dodon ray, ect.) They could probably get away with higher accessory count and more articulation with two/three smaller figures in one pack, though.

When I seen 2pck with a lot of articulation & accessories I imagined cell Jr's. Just yes. Also maybe with a kamehamehawave effect or a special beam cannon since we never actually got that one. Or square (triangle) for a new effect (tri-beam) if tien doesn't come with one.
I like my figures to have articulation. So having more in 1 box w/o articulation will kind of kill it. I like the rift of many poses.

I can't vote on this one, as I want all of them equally. Literally don't want one version of these more than the other as it depends on the character for me.

I think the only big take away that I can give is that I REALLY dislike small figures with 0 real articulation.
For example, the latest Marvel Legends Rocket Raccoon. He came with the Groot Head build a figure piece, and the weapon he gives Star Lord in the movie.
Himself, he has a gun that he can "Hold", has movable arms, and elbow joints. With spinning hands. The waist swivels, but that's it. His head doesn't move, nor do his legs, and he can't stand on it's own.
Super disappointing.

There's always the box set Rocket, lol.
If they could just do a two pack like they have with other figuarts, and treat both figures as entire figures and not act like the smaller figure is a "pack in" it could be good. They don't have a problem including a decent amount of accessories for each figure in the two packs, and having one be so much smaller would help them keep the budget reasonable.

I want them to all have equal articulation. I mean, if Turtle got a figure, then well, he doesn't need to much articulation (should still be able to move his...flippers?)
I wonder who would best pair with Chiaotzu for two small figures?
The two equal articulation packs would be perfect for Saibamen and Cell Jr.s!

If my turtle can't stand up and fight, the Figuarts line is dead to me. There are some figures I don't know if we would need high articulation with (like Korin and Turtle) who are just naturally pretty stationary. I'm starting to like the concepts of the two packs though, especially for Saibamen, Cell Juniors, ect. I kind of think pairing Chiaotzu with beginning of Z Gohan would work, if nothing else, just due to them being based in the Saiyan saga. I kind of think it would also be interesting if in place of a character they had more accessories/blasts for other characters. Chiaotzu could come with a big old Tribeam for Tien, Gohan an early DBZ body for Goku, and so on.

I'd be happy with any kind of grouping or multipacks. Just as long as they don't do what they did with the Mario bad guy pack and just give us a couple solid figurines on bases. I'm kinda ticked that the Koopa is just solid.

Agreed. I would personally love Chiaotzu to have his own box with his own accessories, but I doubt he would be in-demand enough. He would likely need to be packaged with another character, and an adorable Gohan or some other character could help to push him to being more in demand. Gotenks, I would just have turtle posed like that with all the z fighters and villains dead, surrounding him. As it should be.

But after thinking about it, beginning of Z Gohan coming with Turtle would be perfect. There was that little scene of them interacting and Gohan riding around on Turtle's back. Maybe DBS will have God Turtle...
