Amazon has already canceled my preorder for this guy, citing limited stock. Plan B suggestions? Wait until it comes out and get it at a local barnes and noble pretty much anywhere. Fixed it for you.

Likely he'll be Stateside by late October/early November.
Golden Frieza will probably be out around November/December for the US. I'll be surprised if we see him in the States by October.
SSGSS Goku will likely be a December/January release. At this rate, I won't be surprised if we don't see Saiyan Awakening Goku until January or even February.
Bandai/Tamashii has massively raised their game lately with Western audiences by adding franchises like Avengers and Star Wars. Obviously, these appeal to the Eastern markets as well but they seem to have shifted their schedule and delayed several figures (DBZ is notable) in favor of getting the Avengers and likely the upcoming Star Wars figures on the shelves.

Just a slight correction. SSGSS Goku and Golden Freeza release same day. If you ordered them from based off of their Japanese release from sites like Nippon Yassan, HLJ, etc. then you'll receive them by the end of the month of October. If not, then you'll receive them like any other DBZ figuart released domestically a month later. In the case of the God Goku, and Golden Freezer, by the end of November. Nothing has been pushed back at all.

People complaining everywhere. I just finished reading previous posts and I only see the negativity about this figure. Some say it should have a mor pe vivid red. Some say it should stay the way it is. People will never be happy with what they get because the first thing they do is look at the bad side of everything, trying to find a mistake or something tamashii could have improved on. Mostly the reason you dont appreciate this is because it has the same goku mold. What did you expect? Gohan looked exactly like Goku he had the same clothes and he is about the same height. There is no point in making another mold. Second, many also say that it is too expensive for a new head. The way I see it, its that you are buying another Goku which was about the same cost as this one just that this one comes with a new head. You cant expect this figure to be cheaper. Third, this figure comes with a stand and an effect piece. This is a big bonus because we are getting more accesories. Finally, they couldn't have made blue gi gohan nor saiyaman gohan, which I can see him released wih the helmet head, because his mystic or ultimate form is his most powerful state. The worst part is that I used to be like that, I mean, at first I didnt want to buy vegetto because it was a reuse of gokus mold, but now gladly I changed and I can appreciate it because I have character variety. Haha look at that I wrote an essay I guess Im just trying to improve my really poor writing skills, but I do mean everything I said.

I agree with everything you said, except the part about blue gi Gohan. I believe that could be a candidate for next year's exclusive, all they would have to change are the boots. They already set a precedent with Namek Goku so it's arguable that they will continue that trend in the years to come.

Yeah but anything's possible at this point. Tamashii has already acknowledged that they are running out of repaints so slight retools is the only other option. 3 years ago if someone had told you that we would one day get a battle damaged SSj Goku figuart, you prolly wouldn't have believed it.

I dont count sdcc exclusives as releases they are just repaints, except for go goku, but I mean the tamashii web exclusives are the most popular form of the characters which in thi case it couldnt have been any other adult gohan but this one since its his most powerful state, though I can see great saiyaman released as an exclusive, but in the very distant future.
